I do not understand why people are so upset at this person paywalling their own creation, it it's their own original creation they're free to do what they want with it. Doesn't matter how basic it may seem.
Sure, open sourcing would be very useful and quite honestly a great way to help people out in general, but paid resources are just as worthy when made by indie devs, and can help them out aswell. There's no downsides to it.
Dogpiling on someone for trying to make a living out of what they enjoy doing is unacceptable and I do not like any of the people doing so. If you don't need it, ignore it.

We enjoy what you produce, even if its a product of your negative feelings or art block. Again, we don't know you personally, and I'm personally not trying to get into a parasocial relationship, but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy your art, the origin of your art, and it doesn't mean we can't care if something's clearly wrong. We don't mind.
