he was really good, if you look back at his early twitch highlights. I think he just hasn‘t been trying (sweating) since the ending of csgo/ start of cs2. If you didn‘t follow him back then its understandable to think he‘s never been good.

Retake Game Mode is yet to be added in CS2 however, the game mode config, map spawn files, required UI stuff (XML, CSS, SVGs) are all ready and in the game files.
The only possible reason for the delay is as they are re-creating game-modes with TypeScript which they recently did for Wingman, Armsrace and Deathmatch.
Armsrace was released in the first week of Feb, 2024. We might expect Retake or any other Game Mode next with a big update. 🫡
