this is the kind of untalented cope shit i'd expect from @columbia make projects and add value dont spam
I applied to ~700 internships this season and sent 100+ cold emails to alumni, CEOs, founders, mutuals, etc — it was extremely tedious. So I’m building trylocked.in Inspired by @ericmao, it’s semantic search and cold emailing for everyone’s combined network. It grows as more users sign up. Super duper early alpha right now - please try it out and break things… This is currently a fun side project that could be more serious depending on how useful this is. sidenote: getting user data is hard so we're only taking the first 50 users for now trylocked.in

multiplying big number is very hard. if we use computers, then it will make math less special
Replying to @ludwigABAP
I actually don't agree with you on this. Learning to draw is very hard, and being creative even more so. Studio Ghibli is truly special, and with the sheer amount of images being used, it's inevitable that they’ll start to feel even slightly "less special" I don't have a better solution for how AI training data should be handled, but saying that an "art style" isn't something that could be copyrighted or not is really complicated If I were to draw something like this by hand, people would just criticize me for "copying" Ghibli's work And I kind of get the sentiment, people who have worked so hard to make Studio Ghibli what it is today have put decades of effort into their craft. You have to feel at least a little sad for them. But the worst part of all of this is the shady middlemen who are going to make a fortune because people lack morals and any sense of ethics, driven only by money and greed, it's fucking sickening to me
