A cool idea sparked from @hyumankind popped up last night. What do you do when you want to export a visual of your layout grids for creating design documentation. Since @figmadesign layout grids are not part of the export, I created a plugin to generate them on the canvas.

My @figmadesign plugin, Layout Grid Visualizer is now available. This will create an on-canvas visual of whatever grids you have applied to a frame. Useful for exporting images or mockups with grids visible for documentation.

The other @figmadesign plugin I am working on "Edit in place" should be out next week. Bring your master component from anywhere in the document to an instance to make tweaks in context.
When you close the plugin your master component is returned to its original location.

Wrote a small Figma plugin on the airplane last night. Sometimes it's easy to not realize you haven't put content inside a frame/artboard. This plugin will nest any object that is above and completely within the bounds of a top-level frame. Should be available soon!
