someone created NYC Central Park in Unreal Engine and made it free
my 2080ti can barely hold 30fps @ 4K @ High Settings (aka medium) 😅
this will be my benchmarking map for the 3090 and a6000, I'll give the Quadro 8000 a spin as well
I'm one of the only cinematographers who can do remote virtual production work atm and I'm about to shoot a project from my house for a studio that has produced the virtual set/actors/script/audio and I'm only doing the lighting/camera/VP capture.
Welcome to the future.
I modified "Story Framework" (from Fab) to include MetaHuman face and body animations to NPCs! The face animation is Audio Driven Anim and the body animation is from Narrative Motion.
I'm going to make a short narrative game using this framework and put all of the MOCAP source animation online.
I made a roll up door (Box Truck/Garage Door) control rig in UE5.5
- first time using a spline in Control Rig
- little bit of stretching required of the panels :/
I just published my first UEFN project and wow is that streamlined and fast. I even submitted an update an hour later and it was very quickly approved and made live.
WILD.
I'm 32 and time literally flies by. I have goals at the start of every week and then instantly it's Friday and I have to chose which are going to get done. It didn't feel like this at 22. It's also challenging to do YouTube and Instagram at the same time properly
So who wants to see a Zoom call where the director, DP, and actor are in different locations but all filming together at the same time in @UnrealEngine ?
My first "remote virtual production" collab with MacInnes Studios 🎥
They created this as a VR experience, including the digital human and capture, and I did the Virtual Production camera, lighting, and capture in my home studio using @UnrealEngine#UE4
