I'm grateful to My London because even though they got my photo from Press Association, they still credited it to me, unlike another media outlet that I refused their request to use my photo. 1/4
I love Susanna Reed and think she's one of the best current broadcast journalists but Alex Beresford challenging Piers on Good Morning Britain is really what she should have done yesterday. #goodmorningbritain#gmb
The day after the bus crash on New Oxford Street. I think the building came out worse than the bus. Glad no appears to have been seriously injured. I hope you're OK and having a great day
Some street art has appeared on the boarded up shop front that was the scene of the bus crash near Tottenham Court Road Station a few weeks ago. I hope everyone is OK this 1st April 2024.
Good Morning Britain is a better news and discussion show with Bill Turnbull than the tabloid shouting match it has become with Piers Morgan. Bill also lets Susanna speak and we get to see how good a journalist she is. Brilliant pairing and a much better show than usual. #gmb
I'm no where near Tottenham Court Road Station today so no crash site update, so here's a picture that no one will want, cherry blossom by St Paul's Cathedral. Have a great day everyone.
Pleased to read that no one was seriously injured in yesterday's bus crash on New Oxford Street. I hope everyone is OK today and are having a safe and joyous day.
Yes absolutely and you can add it's particularly the case when cyclists ride through red lights with no regard for us mere pedestrians, however I've always remained OK. Sorry for the snarky comment. 😊
However, thanks to Twitter users, you have turned this into a positive experience and spread a bit of joy in the process and for that I thank you and give you the credit. And by the way, I'm still OK! 4/4
Three days after the bus crashed into this shop, reconstruction is progressing. I think the building will be OK. Credit to the builders. I hope the bus will also be OK.
Dominic Raab showing his nasty side. His attack on Kate Garraway was totally out of order and just because she asked a perfectly legitimate question for which he refused give a straight answer. #gmb#goodmorningbritain
Laura Piddock totally smashing it on Question Time. The BBC seem to think it's fair to have 4 austerity supporting panellists against her and she's still bossing it. #bbcqt#bbcquestiontime
I was walking along New Oxford Street, as I do most week days, and the shop that the bus crashed into last week has now been completely boarded up. I wonder what will go into it next? I mean which shop not which type of vehicle.
I was naive in allowing PA to use my photo because I didn't know how these things work so they were able to give the photo to GB News. I should have requested everyone using the photo to make a donation to a charity of my choice. 2/4
Now others, include media that many consider to spread hate, have profitted from advertising alongside my photo. I had no desire to make money from it which was why I said everyone bar GB News could use it for free. 3/4
This #ITVDebate is really annoying, Julie Etchingham repeatedly stopping Stamer from talking over Sunak but allowing the Prime Minister to talk uncontrollably and without interruption.
I've never really been particularly bothered about how many followers I have on here, and to be honest I couldn't tell you how many I had last week, but I'm totally amazed and thankful to see I now have over 4000 of you sweet lovely people. Thank you so much.
Nice to see another London bus advertising Vueling Airlines going along Tottenham Court Road. Almost didn't recognise it without its front buried in a shop window.
Today is Mother's Day in the UK. I lost my mum a few years ago but I'm OK because I have wonderful memories of her. Happy Mother's Day to all mothers, mother figures and people who carry out a traditional mother role, i hope you will be OK today and your love ones give you credit
It's nuts, and thrilling, to see some of my tweets on The Poke but the photos they used for the article aren't mine (I was there before the police cordon), I hope someone else is given the credit. 😂
Dr Hillary, chief #goodmorningbritain apologist for this Tory Government, caught out trying to shift the blame for downgrading the seriousness of Covid-19 to the WHO when the excellent Prof. Ashton had the facts to hand showing the decision was actually made here. #gmb
Iain Dale walking out of @gmb debate because he couldn't handle his views being challenged was childish and unprofessional. If he can handle a chat with Kate Garraway and Grace Blakeley he would probably be in tears if Piers Morgan was there. Absolutely pathetic.
White people putting on black make up to take the mickey out of black people generally offends me. It's hard enough for black talent to be appreciated and Keith Lemon ridiculing Craig David to the point where he wasn't taken seriously any more was unforgiveable.
Yes, God created Adam & Eve but he also created Adam and Steve, Rebecca & Tracy and Josh & Mohammad. He also created Jane (originally known as John) and whoever she choses to be her partner. #loveislove#godlovesusall
Hi Anandi, I hope you're OK apart from your cold. Delighted the joy has reached New Delhi and thankfully no one was seriously hurt in the crash so it's ok to laugh.
Ranvir Singh is the perfect replacement for Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain. She's intelligent, incisive and balanced. Susanna will again have the chance to shine after being overshadowed by Piers for so many years.#gmb#goodmorningbritain
Twitter has just deleted everyone I'm following from my account for no apparent reason. Apologies if I can't see your tweets until I sort out what's going on. 😥
So Rishi Sunak has called a general election on the 4th July. If you thinking about voting Conservative, instead stay at home, protect the NHS and save lives. #generalelection#GE2024#sunakout
Hey Debra, yes I'm OK, I hope you're OK too. I'm delighted that my original post has been the catalyst for what appears to be something joyous for so many people worldwide. Postecoglou is a great manager and will bring success to Spurs but not yet, this is OUR year.
You're right, of course, and realistically the only other candidate who can win is the truly dreadful Susan Hall so voting for Sadiq Khan is a bit of a no brainer for me.
Rishi Sunak really needs to get a stylist who will tell him to wear shirts that aren't too small and that white trainers with trousers from a dark suit don't make you look like a man of the people.
I completely agree. Without Piers, Susanna has got her voice back and we are able to see how good a broadcast journalist she is. The partnership with Alastair Campbell works well too.
