Last year everything accelerated. AI was starting to automate real financial knowledge work, and we felt it in everything we built.
Just as MoonPay is making payments, trading, and money movement headless, Entendre is making accounting and financial operations headless, across every financial touchpoint a company has, on and off chain. Their lead in stablecoins and moats across data and compliance make it the perfect place to build AI financial products at scale.
I owe so much to the people who made this possible: my team, who outbuilt companies ten times our size; our investors, who backed us before there was anything to back; and our customers, who trusted us not just with their financial health, but with their AI strategy.

Today we're sharing that Entendre has been acquired by @MoonPay.
Three years ago we started with a simple conviction: the way money moves was changing fast, but the way it was tracked wasn't keeping up. Stablecoins were rewriting how businesses spend, earn, and transfer value, and accounting needed to move just as fast.
AI was the unlock. We built for the finance teams already operating at 9 to 10 figure volumes across multi-entity structures, wallets, exchanges, cards, subledgers, and bank accounts, fixing the actual work instead of forcing a rip-and-replace.
MoonPay is building the financial operating system for value: stablecoin-first, headless, agent-ready, institution-focused. It's the direction we were always headed.
For our customers: Entendre continues, now with more resources, faster deployments, and deeper integrations.

Spent a month getting close with a fund, giving them very unique insight and even product docs only for them to invest in a competitors round a few months later lol. But I do agree the drama isn't worth it, founders just need to be more hard core and guarded with their time. I'd say 3 calls max.

This can be a big deal for vendor payments, especially if it can be milestone based. When the milestone is met the vendor can immediately claim.
I've been thinking through a request from @shellvish for the last week and knew Hedgey had a product that could handle this.
Didn't think of it at the time, but we have a literal product where you can deposit funds, make them claimable for a specific wallet address, send a custom link to the recipient where they can claim, and cancel/pull back the funds until they're claimed.
Can be used to send a single payment or have someone claim a streaming payment.
Super funny example of building products and having a narrow idea of how they could be used. We've had the claim product for a while now but have always thought of it on the scale of claimdroping tokens to 100k people rather than making it easier to send payments without the worry of those funds being lost.
Going to think through how this could improve distributing payments, vesting ,and lockups in general on our app. Love the idea of baking in an easy way to make sure recipient wallets are compatible and avoid payments being sent into a blackhole.
