NEW VIDEO: NestJS Full Course for Beginners in 2026 | Build a Production-Ready API 🚀 You've been building backends with Express for a while. But every job description now says #NestJS, and every modern tutorial assumes you already know it. The good news? Your Express knowledge isn't wasted, it's a head start. This video is in two parts. First, a full NestJS crash course: modules, controllers, providers, dependency injection, pipes, guards, the whole execution pipeline. Everything that feels strange about NestJS will click. Then we build a real project together, a production-style Hackathon API. The kind of backend you can actually put on a resume. Tech Stack: - @nestframework - @prisma for the DB - @better_auth - @arcjet for security - And more If you know Express, you're closer to NestJS than you think. Grab a coffee and let's dive in! → jsm.dev/nestjs-twitter-yt

NEW VIDEO: DevOps Full Course | Build and Deploy a Scalable Production-Ready API! 🚀 ➡️ jsm.dev/twitter-dops25 #DevOps gets sold as this scary, gatekeeping monster. You either get a 10-minute “look, it works” demo or a 6-hour lecture that has nothing to do with the apps you actually want to ship. In this course, we’ll cut through the noise and actually build a real production-ready backend step by step. Here’s what you’ll learn: → A no-BS intro to what DevOps actually is (and why it matters) → Git crash course so version control finally makes sense → CI/CD pipelines that deploy your code automatically → @Docker to containerize apps for dev & production → @kubernetesio for scaling like real companies do → Infrastructure as code for on-demand environments → Monitoring, logging & security baked in from day one And we won’t stop there. Together, we’ll deploy 'Acquisitions' - a real-world API for buying & selling SaaS businesses, with: ✅ JWT authentication & role-based access ✅ Business listings + deal management ✅ Zod validation & Winston logging ✅ @arcjet security against bots & abuse ✅ @neondatabase (serverless Postgres) + @DrizzleORM@jestjs_ & @testim_io for automated testing ✅ @warpdotdev - the fastest way to build and ship applications with AI! By the end, you’ll have hands-on DevOps skills and a production-ready API you can ship tomorrow! This isn’t another demo. It’s real-world, end-to-end development. Ready to ship like six-figure engineers? → jsm.dev/twitter-dops25 PS @warpdotdev is free, but for a limited time, my friends at Warp are offering their Warp Pro plan for only $1! NEW VIDEO: Build a Full Stack Food Delivery App in React Native with Scalable Database Architecture! 🍕 ➡️ jsm.dev/food-delivery-twitte… What separates junior developers from senior developers? It’s not just writing code. It’s designing systems that scale, stay simple for users, and remain rock-solid under the hood. Most tutorials stop at screens and styles. You never see how real apps handle state, authentication, database complexity, or debug and monitor bugs in production! That leaves you stuck shipping half-baked clones. In this video, I'm going to show you how to build a six-screen food delivery app in #reactnative - and it’s not just pretty, it’s functionally solid. You’ll start thinking like a product engineer, not a copy-paste developer! Together, we’ll implement every core feature mobile apps need: → Email/password authentication → Tab + stack navigation for fluid routing → Home screen with real-time food offers → Search screen with name + category filters → User profile screen → Production-style cart + add-on logic → Error monitoring and crash tracking We’ll use clean architecture, reusable hooks, and polished UX throughout. Tech stack: ✅ @expo to spin up fast ✅ @nativewindcss for styling ✅ Zustand for state management ✅ @appwrite for the backend ✅ Sentry (@getsentry) for error monitoring Grab a coffee, and let’s architect something you’ll brag about! ➡️ jsm.dev/food-delivery-twitte… #softwaredeveloper #mobileappdevelopment

A new JavaScript Mastery YouTube tutorial is coming up! In this tutorial, I'll be showing you how to build and deploy a Stock Market Application with @nextjs, @MongoDB, @typescript, @inngest, @shadcn and @tailwindcss ⬇️ Let's dive into some of the design aspects of this project: 1) Dashboard / Market Overview Page What we did: Traders don’t just look at a single stock - they want the bigger picture. A heatmap instantly shows sector strength/weakness, while indices and news provide context around market sentiment. Dark mode makes long-term viewing easier on the eyes. The green/red contrast pops strongly against the dark background, making gains/losses immediately readable. 2) The Search Page What we did: A clean, minimal search overlay with a dark background & blurred backdrop. Searching is the core user action here, so the design eliminates distractions. By keeping typography subtle and using small icons (star for favorites), the focus stays on clarity and speed. Favorites can be added with a single click. 3) Watchlist & Alerts Page What we did: Dense but readable tables with compact typography, color-coded changes, and clean card layouts for alerts and news. The dark background is paired with muted neutrals, while sharp accents draw attention only to prices, alerts, and actions. 4) Stock Details Page What we did: Brought together multiple TradingView components - charts, indicators, financials - into one consolidated view. The layout uses a two-column grid - charts on the left for visual analysis, structured info on the right for fundamentals and actions. This mirrors how traders think: “see the trend, then check the numbers.” 5) Overall Design → Consistency: Dark mode throughout, with contrast for clarity. → Speed: Key data is front-loaded (current price, % change, sector heatmap) to reduce clicks. → Familiarity: We leaned heavily on TradingView components for charts, tickers, and indicators since they’re widely recognized by traders. This ensures reliability and reduces friction for users who already trust these visuals. In short: We designed for clarity, efficiency, and trader familiarity. Everything is dark, contrasty, and information-dense - but still digestible - so a user can get from “search” to “decision” in seconds!
