We're drastically reducing the time to load on app start!
We do this by
- minimizing the size of the minified js file output to the cache files
- changing StyleRule & StyleRuleSet from objects to arrays
We're expecting a 69% (nice) improvement in v4.1.11 😎

Primarily, we're working on getting fast refresh to work properly. We'll be on stream in the Discord this week fixing it.

Last thing to do is to fix animation switching. Animations work on their own; however, switching and/or changing them causes things to not work/crash.

- We've been testing some changes that dramatically improve fast refresh speed.
- Testing said changes is the only thing standing in the way of publishing 4.1 to `latest` so, barring any issues, that release should follow soon after.

While working through getting our animations test suite to pass, we've discovered a bug with react-native-reanimated. We're working through a hack to get around the issue while @kacperkapusciak and team resolve the issue.

This is resolved on the `virtual-modules` branch and we’re working on getting tests to pass to release a new minor version (v4.1).
We’re aiming to release this version later this week. In the meantime, if you run into this issue, just run `npx expo start -c` to resolve it.

For anyone interested, issue is that useAnimatedProps()/useAnimatedStyle() do not, themselves, update state. To apply changes, you need to run withTiming() or setTimeout(). Our temp hack uses withTiming(). This'll be fixed in a future release of Reanimated and subsequently, Expo.
