Tanks are supposed to be taking damage. Supports shouldn't heal, you'll stop your tanks from doing that.
Instead, focus on damaging your enemies. It's not a coincidence that it takes 10 Ana shots to heal your tank, but only 3 to kill most squishies.

PRO OVERWATCH 2 TIP #101:
It's called Support, not Healer. Picking a Tank Support hero like Brigitte is SPECIFICALLY so you can raise your MIT (mitigation). Any other stat really doesn't matter.
For DPS supports like Kiriko, it's damage. Heal supports like Mercy focus on heals.

You can move around while dealing Large amounts of damage.
This could really shake up the meta on maps with moving platforms, like Volskaya Industries.

Tank players should ONLY be playing Junker Queen! She was almost 100% pick rate in pro play for the Overwatch League, which means she is the undisputed #1 pick for climbing ranked right now.
Do NOT lock Zarya! She dies to Junker Queen's insane damage!

i (skillful player) am on lifeweaver and extremely high in the ceiling right now.
Guys. Lifeweaver does not have a "high skill ceiling" he is just a horrible hero that requires you to play like Jesus to get a drop of value.
When he gets fixed we can make arguments about the heroes skill ceiling but for now he's just awful and you are coping.

You should be playing Junkrat if you aren't already. If you look at the NA leaderboards, every 1 in 20 players is a Junkrat specialist.

Zarya was only strong because Bastion and Torbjorn were not available for Competitive play. Those characters can break her shield easily, leaving her vulnerable.
Try playing someone like Ball instead to avoid the gunfire and to sneak around the turret.

Do not play Echo. There's a reason you never see her played in OW2.
Her character doesn't do enough damage for someone in the damage category and she doesn't even have one-shot abilities. Consider Junkrat instead if you want explosive damage.
