I don't think people realize how hard it is for @pudgypenguins to get a nationwide Wal-Mart deal. There are video documentaries done on that process. Pages and pages of filings and reporting from both sides. I worked in retail for 2 years. When we put up new marketing material there were entire brand books for how to fold the damn cardboard. Brand books on how to place each clothing item and in what position of the store. Which store could sell them and what the return policies were. We would have GM, district manager, and regional manager come in and do performance checks on the marketing before each season. This is something that normally takes years and @LucaNetz did it in one. You know me, i'm really good at being critical, but getting 2,000 stores is hard mode and at a new startup its insane. It's a little luck, but A LOT of sleepless work. Any other founder teasing them about it has no clue at all about retail and should stay quiet.

Some positive things that happened in web3 this summer amid the tradoorr carnage: 1. @yugalabs still put out games that may not be the greatest ever but is still a win. some people like their mini-games. 2. @Azuki has the funds to make real content and showed their anime abilities. 3. @pudgypenguins is doing well with their royalties and toys infra and has comic con on the horizon. 4. @passytee has a really cool game that is pretty nice (I played it) 5. Big summer tests for @InfiniGods and @ParallelTCG and more. 6. @sobylife is launching an arbitrum game publisher 7. @gabrielleydon and team are working and some cool stuff that I know about. 8. @_axtina and still working on 3D and AI software that uses NFTs and it's pretty cool. 9. @Jihoz_Axie and @Ronin_Network ecosystem onboarded new non-axie-based games that are pretty good imo. 10.@mypethooligan made it on the Epic store 11. @dotSWOOSH had massive Fortnite activation 12. @Fwiz is doing crazy stuff in Washington DC and Polygon is pretty friendly with some new entrants 13. The biggest red flag of any of these web3 gaming projects is how hard they hide the actual gameplay. NFT pictures, mint dates, community challenges. All fine, but show me the gameplay.
