On my way to gym yesterday I noticed our local furniture store were moving, so I asked for a discount on their sit-to-stand desk and had to get it. My previous one was manually adjustable so you can guess how often I used it in standing position. It's pretty nice ngl.

A fun little project! Got a used SL Tenz with the Meowmouse 4k pcb installed, that had a somewhat rough looking paintjob applied. So I did the following:
1. Stripped the paint with acetone
2. Sanded the surfaces
3. Repainted with primer + main paint + satin lacquer
4. Installed Huano blue shell pink dots for the buttons
5. Some additional ptfe-tape stuff
6. New scroll wheel ring

I have been testing these @TjExclusives PlastiX – Xact Replacement -skates on a bunch of mice and so far I'm really liking these. Below are some friction testing results and graphs, but tl:dr slower, but more consistent between static and dynamic. (1/5)

Did a neat acoustic panel today! First layer is a painting frame to provide an air gap and on top of that I have glued a rock wool layer. As the outmost layer there are some foam panels. This corner was the major enemy to shotgun mic recordings and now it’s soo much better.

The Poron spacers from @ghostglides are a neat little fix for a wobbly mouse base. Of course some double sided tape will handle the issue as well but with these you don’t have to cut anything yourself! Also worth mentioning is that the newer G-Wolves mice come with similar round stickers in the box and those work fine as well.

- super silent with all my skates

I tested the different LOD settings on the GPX2 with this highly technical paper stacking method™️
So for anyone interested, here are the distances:
Gaming surface mode on
- high = 0,8mm
- medium = 0,5mm
- low = 0,4mm
Gaming surface off = 0,7mm
Also, while it seems that you are able to change the LOD in Onboard memory manager even when gaming surface mode is off, it doesn’t actually do anything. (1/2)

After just 3months of not even constant use, the right main button on my VMSE has become very very loose and it causes very audible rattle and bad click feel. Razer support send me these steps to help with the issue 😭 Needless to say these didn't help at all. They literally hit me with "have you tried blowing on it?"
-Clean Affected Area
-Clean Using Compressed Air
-Clean the affected area by blowing compressed air in between the gaps or components to remove dust or dirt that may have been stuck and may caused the interference.

I had the pleasure of testing a prototype of the Pathfinder from @OrbitalWorks_co for the past weeks and I am seriously impressed.
The amount of shape options you can create is wild and I was able to find some interesting things about how I grip my mice with this. Needless to say I'm very much looking forward to see the finished product and for everyone to get their hands on it!
