This really isn’t an “anti Xbox, pro PlayStation” tweet, btw. I own both consoles, I enjoy both consoles, I have my Xbox in the living room and love it for casual, couch gaming.
But my point is, this console has been absolutely obliterated by PlayStation this gen in sales. That’s just a fact, It’s not even close. And there isn’t much that this console offers that makes it superior to PS5. It has pros for sure, like game pass, but if you’re somebody that has a gaming PC, it’s almost utterly pointless to own this console. The only reason you would buy this product is if there are specific, Xbox/PC exclusives that you SPECIFICALLY want to play on your couch, OR you just stan Xbox. Which is fine too. & That’s about it.
But all of this being said, raising prices by 100 bucks when the next gen is set to release within the next couple years.. KNOWING how large the gap currently is between you & your competitor, it’s just madness. Honestly one of the silliest things I’ve seen one of these companies do in my entire life.

How to fix call of duty:
1. Delete CODHQ forever because it’s literally the worst thing ever created.
2. Re-create Warzone 1 from the ground up. MW19 movement and MW19 guns, with Verdansk, Rebirth, and add whatever other maps to rotation in time. MW19’s engine was supposedly chalked which is why Warzone 2 was ever even a thing, but in all reality the game hasn’t been the same since the original Warzone. So just remake it WITH the quality of life changes that have made the game better over the years.
3. Let Warzone be its own thing, and let COD MP be its own thing. Like.. literally just “Warzone” as its own application. Not affiliated with the yearly Call of Duty in ANY way. This is the ONLY way things will ever be good again for Warzone AND MP. As long as Warzone is tied to the new release every year, COD multiplayer will ALWAYS just be a weapon leveling simulator for warzone and nothing more. No matter how good the game seems to be at launch.

This game was on its mf deathbed not even a month ago. Since WZ2 and arguably even before that, this game has been in a downwards spiral, for a variety of reasons, but the MAIN reason being that the CASUAL AUDIENCE WAS SHOVED OUT OF THE PICTURE
35 year old Jim that just wants to run some COD with his buddies after his 12 hour shift can no longer compete because TTV McGee and his unemployed band of sweaties that play the game 12 hours a day wouldn’t allow it.
Every decision the devs made and every change they did to the game for the last 3-4 years was to cater to the more competitive side of the playerbase.. and it damn near killed the game.
Instead of bitching about TTK and one shot snipers, how about just be thankful for the fact the game you’ve been profiting off playing for the last 5 years is actually doing semi well again, and you won’t have to go apply for a job to pay your bills anytime soon if you just go make some content rather than cry and complain about every little thing

Not only did they create the masterpieces that are Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk, their authenticity and ability to connect with people is unmatched.
I’ve done probably 40+ completionist playthroughs of different games over the last couple of years.. and there are only TWO of those playthroughs where the developers of the games commented on the videos and showed love..
Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk.

We got NEW Assassin's Creed Black Flag REMAKE information.
- The remake removes the modern day and replaces them with more content in Edward’s pirate era (a few extra hours compared to the original).
- Gameplay will shift closer to the RPG-style of newer AC games:
- Loot and gear stats for Edward
- Inventory systems
- Combat leaning toward the RPG style rather than the choreographed combat of the original
- No loading screens when moving between ship and land
- Map is not bigger, but islands will be filled with more activities and side content.
- Expected to include cut content from the original, like parts of Mary Read’s storyline that were dropped in 2013.
- It’s not on the same “big budget remake” level as Resident Evil 2 or Silent Hill 2, but more of a faithful reimagining with updates.
- Uses Ubisoft’s new Anvil Pipeline engine (same as AC Shadows).
- Release window: currently targeted for early 2026 (likely March), though some sources think it could slip to late 2026.
- They are reusing some assets from Skull & Bones to cut costs, but it won’t be obvious to players.
