🧵How we used 🟧
@TrackManFB with Missouri State Punter
@geb31_
👀 We identified steps were long & feet were active at catch by using 2️⃣ camera angles synced together. The long steps were leading to an inconsistent drop/swing/balance.
🙅♂️If your block point is 5-6 yards downfield from your 15 yard catch point from the snap you’re in 🚨 of being blocked or have a butt punt into your shield
⏭️ Quiet the feet (not shuffling the feet when catching) which led to a shorter block point & more control with his swing. With the shorter compact steps Grant was able to create more drive, power, and balance up and through the ball
🚨 We used the data & 2️⃣ camera angles to show Grant when he’s long your not hitting your B+ to A ball. This then created more confidence in Grant to hit more of a consistent spiral, especially when doing directional Punting which must be accomplished at the collegiate level
🤝 Mission accomplished
