I’ve spoken to some NFT projects lately about considering

After almost 40 years in software (sales and leadership) when I hear that I cringe. Why spend valuable resources on something that is built, tested, and feature rich when you can license and deploy an engagement platform immediately. The purpose is to get more community engagement, project excitement and sales (rising floor prices).
As a holder it sends a negative signal to me about the intentions, maturity and execution of a project to waste that time. Who builds a new spreadsheet? You use Excel. No one builds an accounting system, you license Quickbooks or one of the 100 accounting platforms.
The question should not be “if” but when. The time is now not 6 months from now with some half baked solution that drives no engagement.

For me and many other NFT buyers this might be table stakes to enter a new project. I know I’ll be asking any project I consider in the future.
