Unfortunately PayPal does. Streamers don't get to choose PayPal's refund policy. This is a known troll/scam. Donate huge to a streamer and because PayPal has such a lenient policy, you refund after they've spent the money months later. It's fucked up.

FR, you shouldn't have to play for 6 hours for a game to get good. It should start good. You wouldn't keep watching a 10 episode series if the first episode was boring, would you? Reminds me of all the MMO bros that be like "it's good after the first 100 hours" or "at end game"

As a person who speaks multiple languages I completely understand the nuances here, especially dialects, but I still don’t see how that means translation can’t be a perfect place for AI. Miscommunication causes terrible issues in the world. And languages are rarely translated for dialects, but instead major language groups. And even if they were, AI will be able to handle those dialects someday. So are you saying you just don’t like it or you don’t think AI will be able to do it? If you don’t like it okay, I also hate people losing their jobs.

Probably unfair of me to call it machine work. But for most people’s purposes, translation is a task that is a hinderance to something, not a creative art form. I’m saying it’s not the same as a painting which is purely for expression. Language while expressive, is based on logical rules that an AI can more easily adapt to.

What I hate about this and what’s different to software is that we want games to die and be reborn. That’s how new experiences are made. That’s how games innovate. With software the continued improvement to make it better is worth the sub fee especially when the software used to cost $300. Saas doesn’t have gacha mechanics. Software isn’t about dopamine fixes.
