I understand why you supported DeSantis in the primary. I love the guy. It is now over. I will never understand why you would support Biden over Trump and yes you are supporting him if you don’t affirmatively vote for Trump, whether or not you get that logic.

Dear fellow, um, DeSantis online trolls: Why is everybody getting instructions but me?
Jenna, you are right. Calling me a food blogger--as the DeSantis online trolls have been instructed to do--is the furthest thing from an insult. Creating original recipes, converting them into a cookbook, and teaching cooking classes in my home to busy moms who wanted to learn how to make dinner a few times a week was by far my most gratifying professional experience. I also wrote a weekly column in my local paper to share those recipes with my community. It was so much fun. In fact, of all the work I've produced, I only have one framed article in my office--the local paper's coverage of my cooking class from 2014. And as much as I appreciate comments from friends about my current work, nothing is better than when one of my former mom-students--or better yet, their children--tells me they still use my recipes and how much they enjoy them. Cooking for the ones you love and sharing that skill with others is nothing to be ashamed of--so please tell your many RDS groups chats that obsess about me to keep the "food blogger" descriptions coming! Merry Christmas!

Thinking the supposed end of the Cold War gave us an apparently limitless "Peace Dividend," almost the whole West decided it was time to stop spending money on defense industrial capacity, and now we are preparing to stop Chines aggression in the Pacific without adequate arms.
🇺🇸🇺🇦 "Aid to Ukraine" is really an investment in American manufacturing. $51.2 billion has gone into the US defense industrial base to date. Once all funds are obligated, it will be over $60 billion. Top recipient states: 1. Arkansas - $4.25 billion 2. Alabama - $3.31 billion 3. Pennsylvania - $2.83 billion 4. Arizona - $2.72 billion 5. Texas - $2.04 billion 6. West Virginia - $1.98 billion 7. California - $1.96 billion 8. Florida - $1.59 billion 9. Missouri - $968 million 10. New York - $943 million Note that not all contracts and investments are reflected on the map, so it won't match the total obligations. Only prime contractors and select key subcontractors are mapped. The defense industrial supply chain stretches into all 50 states, and many states are underrepresented due to the nature of the weapon systems provided to Ukraine (e.g. no aircraft =very little for South Carolina & Washington). If your state isn't highlighted that doesn't mean that there are no funds from the Ukraine Supplementals flowing into your state.
