Irene is a good friend of mine, and although I'm just a small unknown pleb on Twitter, I can tell you that she has never once scammed anyone before. Honestly, she just struggled with managing a project (SOCOL) that blew up due to IreneDAO's fame, which isn’t the same as scamming. IreneDAO was incredibly popular and the center of media attention at the time, where handling it was a challenge for anyone.
That’s why
@weremeow is trying to fix things here.
And to clarify, I’m not saying that
@zachxbt's statements were entirely incorrect. However, there were details and context that Zach might not have fully understood before drawing conclusions. I greatly appreciate Zach’s work in the space and have no intention of undermining his efforts.
Unfortunately, many on Twitter are spreading exaggerated and false rumors, even accusing her of terrible things. This is a common problem on Twitter where big accounts attract haters and those who prey on their downfall for engagement farming. People with large followings, like
@blknoiz06, face this issue frequently.
Let’s strive for fairness and accuracy.
Don’t be a pure hater, verify before you tweet to avoid spreading bad rumors.
Let's be mindful of the information we consume and share, and always aim for accuracy and fairness.
Recently there has been a lot of false accusations against me.
I’ll release a statement soon.
Thanks for all the love ( and hate ) 🙂
最近有很多针对我的不实言论,
我会发表声明。
感谢各位的厚爱(和仇恨)🙂
