Building @Mastra - teaching you how to build agents along the way

Build Claude Code for X with Mastra! Excited to share Mastra's new AgentController It's a control layer for building products where users and agents collaborate over time Coding agents are the familiar example but the pattern applies far beyond code - finance workflows, research assistants, legal review, security agents, engineering tools, and other expert systems. In this video, I build a blog post-writing harness:

I got some interesting advice today: When an interviewer asks, "what's your weakness?", interpret the question in practical terms rather than in terms of personality faults. For example, "I don't have much knowledge of <specific aspect of job> so it would take me time to learn"

Skill bars decrease your chance of getting hired. If you think you're a 9/10 at JavaScript, you're probs not. It's an example of the Dunning-Kruger effect where you don't know what you don't know. If you really knew, you'd be a 4/10 and that hardly sounds impressive, does it?

Anthropic's Skills are cool but I’m honestly more impressed by the their built-in code execution tool 👀 You can run arbitrary Python in a sandbox, write to disk, and use their file API to download it Here's an example @mastra agent that happens to use the new pdf skill
