It is with shock and sadness that we share Maverick unexpectedly went to heaven last night and crossed the rainbow bridge.
For 7.5 years he brought everyone he met joy and love. His boundless energy, love of his backyard will never be forgotten.
As our constant companion and cuddler he will be deeply missed.
He was in great spirits and did not suffer long but likely had a fast growing cancer which erupted in a stomach tumor last night.
