To all the Minnesotans who are making their voices heard and protesting peacefully:
The world is watching, and when change comes, it will be because of you.
11 years ago today, the Supreme Court recognized marriage equality as the law of the land.
While the powers of hate may still be on the march, Minnesota will continue to stand as a firewall against any and all attacks on your personal freedoms.
Minnesota was the first state to establish an ironclad right to reproductive freedom after the Dobbs decision.
Politicians across the nation turned back the clock on reproductive rights. But here in Minnesota, we trust people to make their own decisions.
Minnesotans are living through a coordinated campaign of retribution from the Trump Administration.
Funding cuts. Lawsuits. Terrorizing our citizens.
Today, I filed 16 FOIA requests to find out how far this campaign reaches.
I’m proud to have joined Minnesotans in exercising our fundamental American freedoms - of speech, assembly, to disagree with our government.
These rights are enshrined in our Constitution. And, they are what makes America great.
I will never stop exercising my constitutional rights to stand up for Minnesotans and the American freedoms we hold dear.
My full statement on DOJ’s politically motivated investigation:
Juneteenth is an opportunity to celebrate freedom, recognize the history and contributions of Black Americans, and stand firmly in building a more just and equitable society.
We’re proud to hold it as an official state holiday and a long overdue celebration of independence.
Operation Metro Surge was nothing but a show of force to intimidate states that voted against Trump.

(There was no evidence that either Mr. Pretti or Ms. Good had been paid activists.)" nytimes.com/2026/06/15/us/po…
We miss you, and think of you often.
Session is wrapped. Spring is in bloom. I’m retiring soon. You two would have thrived in retirement. I trust you’re living it now.
We have our arms wrapped around your kids. They’re remarkable. We love them.
Melissa and Mark remind us that public service is not just for elected officials—it’s for all of us.
I have proclaimed June as Public Service Month and encourage all Minnesotans to do an act of service in their honor.
Q: Are you concerned about the latest inflation numbers that came out this morning?
TRUMP: No, I love it. I love the inflation. You know why? Because as soon as this war is over -- do you know we've been taking out millions of barrels of oil? Nobody knows it. You know who doesn't know? Iran until right now.
