Over the past few weeks I've been improving both products.

Sad to announce that @prompthunt will be closing its doors on March 15.
After pouring my heart, time, and savings into it, and facing my co-founder’s departure last December, it’s been tough. Despite seeking support, I’ve found more requests for help than offers of it. This is a hard goodbye, but sharing this feels necessary.

When I first started @PromptHunt, I was certain having a free plan would only help us get more folks trying the product and converting to subscribers, but it took me a few months to realize two things:
1.) People with game the X free credits very quickly with alternate emails
2.) It ended up doubling or tripling my bill with Lambda Labs. Insane.
The most inane thing I'm learned from that whole experience, was when I cut off free accounts, subscriptions went up dramatically. It broke my brain.

We typically don’t really say we were the first pfp generator. However, it’s pretty clear we were the first Nintendo-y pixel art avatar/pfp creator. It’s clear that’s what a lot of services after the fact were copying. We also made it a social product. Don’t get it twisted.
