A few years ago someone told me to post my work online every day.
I didn't listen. Not really. I'd go a few weeks, feel good about it, then stop. Come back months later. Stop again.
But even the inconsistent stretches changed things. Someone I'd never meet otherwise is suddenly in my DMs. A conversation turns into a project. A tweet I forgot I wrote opens a door six months later.
It's a weird feeling. Realizing the internet was working for you while you weren't paying attention.
Most people I know have ideas worth hearing. They just never put them anywhere. Packaging yourself into something people want to read is its own skill. And nobody really teaches it.
That's what we're building with @stanleyforx. You bring what you know. Stanley turns it into something people actually read.
Personal distribution is the most underrated career move. And it shouldn't be this hard.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but “building” does not just mean making software. Building can be writing, drawing, making music, art, food, etc. As long as you are putting something NEW out into the world you are a builder.

A few months ago I joined @saleh_digital and @steven_yuen to rethink how we design software. We are building tools that bridge the gap between design and code, because designers should be working with the raw material of software, not just pushing pixels. This isn't just another one-shot prompt toy, but a way to intentionally craft software. Automate the grunt work, but give designers the room to do their craft. Falcon is a well crafted IDE for design engineers. Alpha build releasing this friday.

New Demos is a celebration of all the makers, artists, designers , builders and everyone else who brings something New into this world. It’s a celebration of Neo Toronto. Stop 2: Big Trouble
Need to process this spot for a bit. Got to speak with one of the owners Mikey and he filled me in on the history of pizza in Toronto. This spot definitely has a level of care in their slices I haven’t come across before. He let me know who he thinks genuinely cares about a good slice in the city. Slice reminded me of pizza as a kid. Will be back here.

Last week I was at an all time low staying home being sick. My water intake had dropped to zero. I couldn’t serendipity max at all. When all hope was lost I received a posty in the mail. It was a message from the west end of Toronto commemorating a park hang. I saw how happy @chaoticdesigned was on the postcard and remembered what I was fighting for. @melkuo really captured the joy associated with receiving a memento like this. I swear no one is gonna consume more fluids than me. I’m so hydrated I bring a general sense of humidity to a room. Clouds follow me around just hoping to catch some of my overflow. When I step outside, plants stand up straighter, grateful for the atmospheric boost. I'm so hydrated, I could single-handedly solve a drought just by walking through it. Water parks call me for advice. Rivers ask for my secrets. Honestly, my blood type might as well be H2O.

Thought I was above vibe coding since I already code, until I tried it with Swift - turns out talking your way through a language you've never touched hits different. Added a couple more features to this voice recorder app. Notes are now saved on a users iCloud account. You can now provide an open Ai key for better transcription. The ui isn’t as clean as I want, but the features work and I have no idea what any of the code is doing. Just me yapping to a computer
