The art is complete and 112,383 Runestones are ready to be inscribed and sent to the 112,383 eligible Ordinals addresses.
The final step is raising funds to cover network fees.
Runestone is a 100% volunteer effort with no team allocation. It would not be possible without the Ordinals community stepping up to make it happen. This started out as a fun idea that I tweeted several weeks ago to reward the year one Ordinals community in as fair of a way as possible.
Our inscription partner @ordinalsbot has volunteered their engineering resources to inscribe and distribute Runestones and will not be taking any service fee from donations.
Donations go directly to cover network fees and any leftover funds will be returned to the address that sent the donation shortly after inscribing.
Contributors do not receive any extra allocation of Runestone or anything special. Donating is completely optional and should only be done because you want to support the Runestone initiative and help bring it to life.
We need 15 people/projects to commit 0.15 BTC each (no more or less) to cover Runestone network fees for inscribing/distribution.
There will not be a public address to donate to because we do not want to raise more funds than are needed accidentally. Please do not send funds anywhere unless I have personally contacted you and please do not try to pool funds together from many people to make a donation. Scammers will be rampant so do not send funds to any addresses that are shared.
I will personally contact you if you have expressed you want to contribute 0.15 BTC with more details. Confirm that it is me on this account and not an impersonator of me as well.

While there were many strong points made for both keeping the ~825 addresses that were controlled by the Taproot Wizards company or compromising by distributing the Runestones to Quantum Cats holders ourselves it is clear to anyone that has been following the discussion for the past 5 days that removing these addresses from being eligible to receive a Runestone is the majority consensus.
I intentionally did not weigh in with my opinion and will continue to keep those thoughts to myself. What is most important is that we were forced to come together as a decentralized community to figure out how to handle this situation and we succeeded in doing that. I’m very proud of how respectful you all were to each another and am very grateful to everyone who participated even if this is not the outcome that you hade hoped for.
We now need independent verifiers to identify all addresses that held Quantum Cats during the snapshot so that they can be removed from the eligibility list (to be abundantly clear these ~825 addresses were controlled by a single entity at the time of the snapshot and are not the current Quantum Cats holders who remain unaffected). In the spirit of everyone receiving a single Runestone it was suggested that one address that held Quantum Cats during the snapshot still be eligible in order to be as fair as possible. Thus independent verifiers should keep this single address as eligible: bc1pza72y6yvn8gak2ym4dr3w7znd89yfttpcewaa6jk5sg52dg2majqpnyaze
Once the updated list has been generated and compared for accuracy by multiple independent verifiers we can move forward with inscribing and distributing."

Three independent verifiers have come to consensus on an updated list of 113,376 Ordinals addresses that are eligible to receive 1 Runestone.

More independent verifiers are still working to reach consensus but we can now say with a high level of confidence that this is an accurate list based on the eligibility criteria of holding at least 3 non-TXT/JSON inscriptions at the snapshot block height of 826,600.

Major Runestone Update:
Three independent verifiers have come to consensus on an updated list of 113,376 Ordinals addresses that are eligible to receive 1 Runestone.

More independent verifiers are still working to reach consensus but we can now say with a high level of confidence that this is an accurate list based on the eligibility criteria of holding at least 3 non-TXT/JSON inscriptions at the snapshot block height of 826,600.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to @lfg, @OrdData, @gm7t2, @_BitPunks_, and snakeordinals, for participating as independent verifiers. Runestone is a 100% volunteer, transparent, decentralized initiative which would not be possible without individuals like them stepping up.
