Man, this year's E3 has felt really underwhelming to me so far. My most anticipated games were already announced last year & there have been very few new games that have sparked my interest. I don't think the conferences are bad either, I just think the new games aren't exciting.

CQ is back for 2023!
We decided to start the season a little earlier this year since pros are in town post-kickoff event
We wanted to give pros the option to start queueing up, but there may be less activity until Amateur players qualify since they represent ~1/3rd of CQ
Champions Queue is BACK! ⏬
Spring Split 1 of the 2023 Season begins tonight at 8PM PT. We've adjusted queue times to better fit team scrim schedules, and CQ will now run from 8PM - 2AM PT.

The goal for Champion's Queue is to remain responsive to player feedback
This change is reflective of competitive matchmaking being a focal point for Week 1 discussion
In addition to this, we are also working on improving the matchmaking features as well
The Champion's Queue Council will be implementing a new rule change. Effective 2/25 the minimum solo queue ELO requirement required to play in Champion's Queue will be raised from Master to Grandmaster. Non-exempt players who fail to meet the requirement will be removed.

Today, we bid farewell to our NACL Championship League of Legends team.
Since the start of the season, we wanted to make sure that our players would have the chance to prove their worth and value as some of the top players in the NA scene. With our win in the NACL, they have done exactly that. Our agreement with each of them was set so that after the season, they can all pursue LCS opportunities freely and without any kind of restrictions as LCS orgs look to revamp their roster for next year.
Each of them are amazing players and deserve the chance to play on the biggest stage in North America. As an NACL team, there is currently no pathway for any DSG players to work their way up to LCS as long as they remain on the team. We would vouch for each of their work ethics and encourage all LCS teams to give them a trial.
A special thank you to our manager/coach Goldenglue for putting together this roster on a week’s notice. He has done a wonderful job keeping the players on track and creating a positive and productive atmosphere. Thank you as well to our analyst, Rast, who worked closely with the team on a strategic front.
DSG will be staying in the NACL for 2024. Thank you to all the fans for their support as we continue our journey in the esports scene.
