Over the weekend, we conducted a thorough due diligence review. During this process, we received and verified information that neither we as organizers nor the MultiversX team was made aware of and issue affecting projects who were part of the profile picture selection. Due to this unexpected development involving a legal dispute between two parties, we are compelled to remove those specific entries from the PFP selection. As organizers, we take no position in the dispute and hope it will be resolved as soon as possible. This change does not intend to undermine or harm the projects' communities, nor does it reflect our own stance on any ongoing disputes between the projects involved. Our intent is solely to protect the integrity of the event, the team members, and the MultiversX community. It is not a reflection on the broader community or the other projects involved. We are very sorry for the projects affected as we know it involves some of the most active and enthusiastic community members. We understand this might elicit strong reactions, but we assure you that this action has been carefully considered. We put a lot of time and effort into creating a fun event that brings people and communities together and hope this will not diminish its overall success.
