The bridge and swap are now live on vabble.com for $VAB token ahead of launch. We have put a together a "How to" video for you and our good friend @CryptoCasino4 will also put a video together for you on his Youtube. There are some things you will need to remember before you use the bridge and swap. IMPORTANT Make sure you add all the token contracts to your wallet before completing any of the steps below. The contracts can be found on the Swap page with a handy "Add to Metamask" button for each contract. Bridging: 1. When Bridging from VAB on Ethereum to VAB on Polygon, it can take up to 30 minutes. Once the bridge has finished, your Polygon VAB will be airdropped to your wallet. 2. When you bridge, you do not have to complete any swaps. The token you will receive from the bridge is the new Official VAB token. 3. If you are bridging back to Ethereum from Polygon (not covered in the video), you will follow the same process as bridging from Ethereum to Polygon but the token will not be airdropped to your wallet. You will need to go back to the bridge page and click "Claim" after 30+ minutes. Swapping: 1. You only need to swap if you currently hold Anyswap VAB or fxVAB. 2. If you hold Anyswap VAB, you will need to swap to fxVAB first, and then swap from fxVAB to the Official VAB token. You cannot swap from Anyswap VAB to Official VAB directly. 3. If you hold fxVAB, you may skip step 1 on the swap page and go directly to step 2 and swap from fxVAB to the Official VAB. Once you have your bridging and swapping complete, we recommend to remove the Anyswap VAB and fxVAB contracts from your wallet to stop any future confusion. @coingecko and @CoinMarketCap have both updated the @QuickswapDEX pair on the token trackers. **VAB token is moving but it's nothing to worry about! POLYGON ONLY!** We are in the process of consolidating our swap on polygon and setting up our own native bridge from Ethereum to Polygon/Polygon to Ethereum. During this process, we will be required to remove the liquidity from the fxVAB pool, and AnySwap VAB and deploy it to the new VAB token pool on Polygon. We are making you aware of this now to ensure the information is circulated ahead of the liquidity migration. **Why are we doing is? ** We are deploying a new VAB token on Polygon to remove the "fx" from our ticker which was an emergency safety token we deployed in the light of the multichain shutdown in order to keep communtity members funds SAFU. Additionally, the initial Polygon token was made vulnerable due to the multichain shutdown. This is how we correct the Multichain mistake permanently. We are contacting @coingecko and @CoinMarketCap to remove the fxVAB token from our token tracker pages and add the new VAB token on @QuickswapDEX **Why do we need VAB on polygon?** Staking will only be made available on polygon due to Ethereums fees. We look ETH but the fees can be painful for hodlers. The rule of thumb is, ETH is for hodling. Polygon is for staking. If you are currently on Ethereum and want to move to polygon ahead of staking launch, don't do anything just yet. We will launch our Bridge ASAP. Thanks for understanding. Dear $VAB Community, Over the past several days we have been meeting to discuss a potential change to Vabble and the $VAB token. First and foremost, we would like to thank you all for your patience over recent months as we build, polish and test Vabble. Last week, we had to move Vabble off of Mumbai and switch to Amoy as the Mumbai test network on Polygon is deprecated. During this time, some of the team had a consultation with a blockchain VC advisory team. After that discussion, something came to light, something we had talked about internally as a team in the past. That conversation was about Polygon and the decision to launch on Polygon. Over the days since that advisory meeting, we have met to discuss if the Polygon network is really the right choice to fully launch Vabble on considering all the variables. With these meetings, we came to a conclusion that Polygon may not be the correct chain. Outlined in VIP-4, is the argument for and against migrating both the Ethereum and Polygon token/liquidity pools over to @base Network. @coinbase own Rollup chain based on @Optimism Stack. We believe BASE Network is going see explosive growth in coming months with it already surpassing mature L2 chains. Additionally, it will make the use of VAB much easier for every current community member and all new community members we expect to see. These changes, should the community be in favor, are not a massive change for us internally given that BASE is an L2 chain, like Polygon, and will only add 2/3 weeks of work after the voting period of VIP-4. As for you as a user, you won't have to do anything aside from add Base chain to your metamask or import your wallet to the Coinbase wallet. All users will receive a 1:1 airdrop after a snapshot takes place. Given this change is so significant, we are not going to make this decision ourselves. We have prepared everything there is to know about this change and presented it on the proposal on Snapshot. The final decision on this move is up to you. As always, myself and the team will be available on discord and in telegram to answer all your questions. VOTING AND DISCUSSION To discuss this proposal in detail, use our dedicated discord channel. Gas fees had been causing some users issues so we spent a lot of time improving them. Our membership function was not working as intended which has now been rectified. All films, series, and documentaries that already passed governance have been re-imported however, governance proposals are not. If you want to see past proposals, you will need to view them directly on the contract via Basescan. Maximum staking pool emissions (rewards/APR) have been increased from 21% to a huge 48%. Rebrand is mostly complete with some colour changes needed on VFX DAO in the coming weeks. Slate is no longer “Slate”. It will be referred to “Film Exchange” going forward. Staking has been postponed until Monday 12th to ensure everyone who wants to stake will be ready in time. We want staking launch to be a fair opportunity for everyone. Additionally, for everyone to have a fair opportunity in finding the first clue to the white rabbit treasure hunt with a grand prize of 5M VAB tokens. We know this might disappointing but we have a prize for you. The auditor of VAB DAO will be staking 50,000,000 VAB tokens as it is required to be staked in order to complete certain proposals if we need to migrate to a V2 DAO. The rewards generated by the auditor will be shared between 200 stakers on VAB DAO after its 30 day staking period. How does it work? 200 users who stake in the first 24 hours will be randomly selected to receive their bonus reward at the end of the auditors 30 day staking period. What do I need to do?
