A political professional, long time Young Dem member, and supporter of VAYD, Emily was a fixture in the Virginia Democratic political world for years after her time with VAYD, in the General Assembly, working with the House Democratic Caucus, and working on countless campaigns throughout the commonwealth. After moving to the Commonwealth, Emily felt embraced by Virginia and because of how welcomed she felt, she made it her home which made her all the more determined in her work to better it. From the outpouring of sympathies and condolences, it is no wonder just how much of an impact that she made on Virginia and politics as a whole. One can only look around Virginia right now at the many designs she made for organizations and candidates that are still in use to this day.
