We have been inspired by the children in our town. They have been placing rainbows in their windows as signs of hope, and now the Conception Bay South Fire Department has done the same.
We’re extending the dates for the Light Walk at @ManuelsRiver! The last day has been moved to Sunday, January 16, 2022.
Our light display is from 6:00 – 10:00pm on weekdays and 4:00 – 10:00pm on weekends.
The Town would like to thank the @RNC_PoliceNL for their dedicated efforts in keeping our community safe.
As they've stated there is no further threat to our community, we will be opening our recreation facilities at 4PM today. The Town Hall is currently open to the public.

Council announces progression of community park in the downtown area, which will include a multipurpose, recreational surface that transfers from a splash pad in the summer to an ice-skating surface in the winter. #CBSBudget2020
A state of emergency has been declared. Due to deteriorating weather conditions, the Town has now suspended snow clearing operations. Snow clearing operations will not resume until weather conditions improve to safely do so. Loaders have been positioned at Fire Departments.

A local couple who lost both of their children to the same rare form of brain cancer continue to pour love for their kids back into our town. Annually, the incredibly strong & kind Louise & Bernie Mercer host a Riley Mercer Memorial Toy Drive. Thank you to everyone who donated!

Today, the East Coast Trail Association signs a MOU with the Town of Paradise, signalizing the establishment of a major partnership with our Town, Paradise & Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s to commence trail enhancement on the historic path between Topsail Beach & Portugal Cove.
Prior to puck drop, Trevor Murphy, Cody MacDonald, and Ken O'Leary of the Newfoundland Growlers made a $15,000 donation to Mayor Darrin Bent on behalf of #GrowlersGive as a thank you to community groups in the @TownofCBS for being wonderful partners and hosts.

The flags at the Conception Bay South Monument of Honour will be flown at half-mast out of respect for Mr. Gus Taylor of Kelligrews who passed away at the Caribou Memorial Veterans Pavilion at the age of 85. Mr. Taylor was a Veteran of the Korean War and a long time resident.
