ALT TRAFFIC ADVISORY (July 1 at 3:20 p.m.) – Bay Roberts RCMP advise the public that the Veterans Memorial Highway – north of Tilton - is closed in both directions due to a vehicle fire. The highway is not passable in either direction as emergency personnel respond to the scene. Detours can be taken along Route 70.
