It's alive! @VisorXR demo pulled through. Still some issues with the demo units, but we did get to see some video footage in the lenses, which was super bright and clear. AVP quality video. #happycamper

So I was able get another Demo from @ImmersedVR
And @VisorXR. With a lot of creators @connect, I think coming here for a quick stand up demo was a smart move.
Hand tracking works

Clarity is great (although buggy ATM)
Fits my big melon
Mixed reality worked,and looked pretty good.
Not AVP good, but Q3 good.
Eye tracking was not working during this demo, so I was un able to test out that.
I was not able to see a battery puck, apparently there are some design changes from going from wifi 7 down to wifi 6, to counter some issues and possible delays.
Looking forward to another demo as this headset progresses.

My disappointment comes from "I've seen this before on a quest". This is an image from Spatial, 3 years ago. (I used to use this)
I would think the Apple budget would have made more progress.
I guess I was expecting what I saw in the trailer.
Am I the only one to think this is a technological feat??
Yes, it looks cartoon-ish and a little creepy but only because it was actually able to achieve looking like the user who is at that moment wearing a box! You can even see their hand movements!
This can't be easy to achieve. I'm impressed. I have yet to try it myself, though.
