Hands down the best consumer vr treadmill I’ve tried, and I’ve been very skeptical of them in the past.
This is the first one where I could genuinely see myself using this EVERY time I play VR. I didn’t have to relearn how to walk, or lean forward, I could full on sprint and jump, and the tracking was extremely accurate because it’s using streamvr feel trackers. And apparently any flat foot shoes should work with these. #vr #quest3 #gaming

Unpopular opinion: only way to make VR more viable for the general public/give it a better reputation is to go back (at least partially) to High End PCVR, BCI devices, haptic suits, PCVR Games etc.
The Majority of people not involved in the industry think it’s a gimmick… because they tried a quest with these 1 mechanic games like Gorilla tag etc..
I’ve had to explain that you can much more advanced things with VR…but most of them are not on standalone.

I’m disappointed the Valve Deckard is apparently going to be a standalone headset.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the only way the VR industry actually moves forward in meaningful ways is if people focus on PCVR.. THEN port to mobile.
Look at any of the top quest vr apps… all of them started on PCVR.
Doing it the other way limits scope and keeps all the apps feeling stagnant, samey.. and boring.
But that’s just my opinion. #vr #pcvr

Might piss people off.. but IMHO VR mods for flatscreen games are now BETTER than the majority of Native “made for VR” games.
These are unpaid modders, they’re doing it out of passion, and yes, adding VR support to an already good game instead of making a new IP would be easier.. But WHY are the actual VR mechanics in these mods better than native games most of the time? #vr #quest3 #gaming

We need more PCVR Content/Creators, yes it’s niche, but it’s the only way VR can be used to its full potential. I didn’t get invested into VR for low poly apps with single mechanics and a cash shop.
