Kim’s Convenience star Paul Sun-Hyung Lee wants the graduating class of 2021 to know that they have the power to change the world.
“The issue at the heart of this is the independence of our justice system. We cannot have a democracy without an independent justice system that is free from political interference,” @janephilpott tells AMT.
Eabametoong First Nation has been under a boil water advisory for 18 years and declared a state of emergency in mid-July. "We should not have to worry about the safety and quality of our water ... that every Canadian gets to enjoy," said Chief Harvey Yesno.
As a lawyer, Marie Henein is often asked, "How can you as a woman defend someone who's charged with sexual assault?"
She replies: "The same way that a man defends someone who is charged with sexual assault."
