I can’t speak for anyone else that worked on this film but I can tell you I am honestly mentally drained from all of this . From the initial shelving of the film (which btw was announced shortly after the strike ended ) to the quick reversal which gave me hope . Now back to it being canned again. I am not exaggerating when I tell you this whole ordeal has really had an impact on my mental health . Yes , of course there will be other projects, yes of course I will always have the experience in my mind , but as I started seeing how badly it effected everyone , the cast,crew and fans it made it even harder for me to deal with . This film isn’t just about the special connection it had for me involving two people whom I’ve lost in my life ..this film has affected many in so many different ways and it’s really makes me lose faith in what happens to art. This isn’t even just about this film , they have scrapped others. What I personally think is a slap in the face is the fact that no official statement has been released either way . Yes, you will face more backlash if you delete it but leaving so many people wondering isn’t a good move. If by some miracle you will sell or release it then say it is not part of the $115 million write off . With that being said , what else was written off because that is still a messed up situation. After reading the statement @OrvilleIV Will Forte about the film will most likely never be seen publicly and reading his heartfelt message to the cast and crew , I am just tired , hurt , confused and devastated on why this is happening . @wbpictures , the least you can do is speak on the situation. #ReleaseCoyoteVsAcme . I am positive I am not alone when it comes to this whole ordeal messing with our emotions and mental health .

I am thrilled to announce that Coyote vs Acme has been rescued by Ketchup Entertainment and is slated for theatrical release in 2026. This film held immense personal significance for me, as both my son and mother were huge fans of John Cena. Having worked on this project shortly after losing my son, I was deeply invested in its success. Although my role was minor, I was placed in an exciting scene alongside John Cena, which held tremendous emotional value. Witnessing the cast and crew's tireless efforts, I was compelled to fight for the film's completion, not only for personal reasons but also for the sake of New Mexico's film industry. Our collective voices made a profound statement, emphasizing the importance of allowing audiences to determine a film's success. I extend my sincerest gratitude to all who signed the petition and advocated for this film. The latest word on #coyotevsacme is that @wbpictures have already made up their minds on the films fate . Just waiting for this to all die down . Perhaps another bidder comes out of left field but the asking price is pretty high . Nothing is official until it’s official but we are pretty much on the side of trying to change their minds by writing their having them #ReleaseCoyoteVsAcme themselves or lower that asking price . Trust me , they hear the noise but it is going to take a TON more convincing . So what needs to happen here is we fight 100x harder than before . Tag @wbpictures , let them know you are pumped up to see this film . Let them see that they can make a profit if it’s released . I know it’s tiring , I know some people are ready to give up but we have to keep fighting . This is for all the cast and crew of a completed work of art. This is for all the fans of @LooneyTunes . This is also to prevent this behavior from happening again in the future . If they have indeed made up their minds shelve it for good ….whenever it is announced there will be just as much backlash . It has become very obvious that @wbpictures is ignoring everything we have said . Well , in the spirit of Thanksgiving I would like to say what I am thankful for . 1. I am thankful for the opportunity I had to work along side @JohnCena as the filming of #CoyoteVsAcme took place just a few months after I lost my son. My son loved John Cena and my mom , who passed away 9 years ago , was also a huge fan . I know they both would have been so proud and it was the first time I had smiled in quite sometime. 2. The entire cast and crew . The director @dgreenmachine was such a phenomenal director . All of the cast and crew were so amazing to me and one another . Being on this set really helped me through a very hard time . 3. All of the people who fought for this film . So many fans signed the petition, reposted #ReleaseCoyoteVsAcme and even some of the cast and crew publicly spoke about it . @bauzilla was a big voice for this film as well and his talent graced this amazing film. 4. The cast and crew again deserve thanks . Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication. We completed a film …all the way . That isn’t an easy task and from many that saw the film ..it was wonderful . The entire reason we have been fighting for this film is because completed films deserve to be shown . Audience’s deserve to be the judges on a films success . This has to stop. I am thankful for all of you in helping me make a little noise. It looks like they absolutely do not care and 100% want this to fade away just like I mentioned. Every morning I wake up I hope to wake up to some good news . It is absolutely draining ….the cancel …the un cancel …the cancel again and now hoping for it to be saved one last time . I have zero regrets working on the film , my mom and son would still be proud even if it never sees the light of day but I’ve always envisioned watching #CoyoteVsAcme for the first time and they would be watching it with me in spirit . I know the emotional trauma this is causing me and I am just a background actor but with some emotional ties , I truly feel for the cast and crew of this movie . People spent hours upon hours making this film complete …great test screenings which I’m sure made them proud and I can only imagine the excitement they had as they waited for a release date . Could you imagine hearing that your work was amazing just to be told that it shouldn’t be seen by everyone? @dgreenmachine @Kurpanek @bauzilla @JohnCena and more deserve their creativity to be seen. To the people out there saying it’s David Zaslovs movie and he can do what he wants with it , to @IndieWire who put out articles defending this disgusting behavior by @warnerbros ….unless you’ve actually worked on the film or you are a huge @LooneyTunes fan …how about we show some support to artists ..to everyone that puts effort into completing a film . According to some logic we mind as well just cancel every film if we fear it won’t make a profit . Let the people decide what’s good or bad like we’ve always done . What is the point of even accepting screenplays ..filming the entire movie , in some cases like this one even receiving positive test screening scores , if you don’t want to release it . There are definitely movies out there that flop but still get shown and now all involved at least had their work shown. It’s entertainment ..movies are made to be seen, not to be shelved and written off for tax purposes. I am honestly tired , just beyond disappointed that this film that not only means so much to me , but also so many of my New Mexico film family and cast and crew from all over ……could never see the light of day . I know there is disappointment with no new information about #CoyoteVsAcme at Cinema Con but I wouldn’t panic as negotiations are probably still ongoing OR @warnerbros is strongly considering releasing the film themselves . With people quitting amid all of this tax mess and changes being made I am confident that this movie will see the light of day . We may not hear anything for months but it will be loud when we do. Some are not going to be good but at least an audience can decide that . Leaked screenshot of Wile E Coyote from the movie #coyotevsacme . The petition I started now has over 10,200 signatures!! Paramount and Amazon are both interested but nothing official yet . I was part of the legal team in the film . The animation looks fantastic for Wile E Coyote !!!! This film means so much to me and I was truly devastated when it was canceled . Two very important people in my life who are now gone (mom and son)?were huge fans of @JohnCena so being in a scene next to him meant a lot to me . I usually don’t even do background work anymore but I was all over trying to get on this film . I had multiple chances to ask John Cena for a selfie but never did as I never want to interrupt an actor when they are working . I did however end up in a scene where I sit right next to him thanks to the awesome director @dgreenmachine picking me to sit with him . That made my day more than any selfie would have . I worked on the film for multiple weeks and I saw how hard everyone was working ..I saw first hand the awesome performances of John Cena , Will Forte and others. When I started the petition I didn’t expect much but had to say something . I am sure this film will be a hit and ALL that were involved deserved to see it and all the FANS deserve to see it as well . Stop scrapping completed movies ..stop disregarding people’s hard work . This movie had positive test screenings already before it was scrapped . Do better @warnerbros and hopefully you sell it at a fair price and let it see the light of day .

Not one peep out of @wbpictures about #CoyoteVsACME . I said a couple of months ago that they will most likely stay quiet and let it fade away . The talk about #ReleaseCoyoteVsAcme has definitely dwindled down.

Why am I not surprised you are struggling? @WBHomeEnt . I am an actor and what I am about to say may burn bridges, but I am going to speak from my heart and for my film family. The disrespect that you have shown to the cast and crew of these films you have either shelved, sold, put in the vault, etc....is absolutely unacceptable. Batgirl and Scoob Holiday Hunt were just the start but then #releasecoyotevsacme , a completely finished film, was locked away for an apparent tax write off. After backlash, you pretend to give a damn and tell us that it is up for sale. The only thing you failed to mention was the asking price and it was nonnegotiable. It did not look like you had any intention to sell this film, especially knowing that it could do well elsewhere. We then get nothing for a while, and we are told it has been officially shelved. After more backlash, FINALLY someone from @wbpictures says it wasn't written off yet. It has been over a year since the original release date had been moved so you obviously had a plan a long time ago. Here we are, still waiting on something official about this movie but all we hear are crickets. You are making headlines ....all for the wrong reasons. Losing more and more money, showing more and more disrespect to animated films and this ugly cycle of scrapping projects. I was just a background actor on #coyotevsacme but I have been fighting for this film from the start. I have connections as well and have been flat out told that you were not interested in selling this film or releasing it. Want to make some positive headlines for a change? Announce that you are going to release a film that is already completed, that many people worked on and put their blood, sweat and tears into making. I see there is a leak going around to the plot of #coyotevsacme . I myself won’t be sharing any leaks and do advise people to be careful with it of course. Obviously, if you don’t want to spoil the movie don’t read entire plot but for those who have read it I can tell you there is more awesome stuff left out in the scenes I worked on myself . This story is absolutely phenomenal. It’s not just funny , it has a very solid message to it and will hit you in the feels. #releasecoyotevsacme .

As mentioned yesterday I kind of expected nothing to be said about #CoyoteVsAcme . The bright side is that nothing has officially been announced about it being deleted . It was a blessing to work on this film and also see how many voices have spoken to save it . @bauzilla @dgreenmachine @JohnCena @Kurpanek @NedThorne @PJ_Byrne and many more I guarantee appreciate the passion to release this film . I was a very tiny part of this film but wanted to speak up and I will continue to fight . If this was all some huge marketing stunt to get people talking about this film or to gauge how much interest there is I feel the mission is accomplished. A little more accurate

I remember so many people telling us the movie is gone , stop whining , it’s crap , your movie will never be seen …and yet most people kept on believing. I they had my doubts for awhile but never gave up . I wasn’t going to give up on this film until I heard something official . I promise you that your voice had something to do with this film being saved. Ketchup Entertainment definitely heard you and Warner Bros righted a big wrong ..No more scrapping completed films . (wish they would have released it themselves but glad it’s saved) . So so proud of all involved . Let’s help out @Ketchup_Distrib with marketing of this film as well . We still have until its release date to promote this film .

I’m not even joking when I say I wish had the money to file a lawsuit for messing with my damn emotions so bad with this film . #coyotevsacme .and all the cast and crew and fans out there . With the news that #CoyoteVsAcme is still being shopped around it does give me hope but at the same time I have to wonder if @wbpictures has totally given up on releasing it themselves. They finally did announce an update on #salemslot, which is going straight to Max ….when it’s all said and done they could do the same with #CoyoteVsAcme . If not , I am hoping they are at least negotiating and not sticking to one asking price . Each day I wake up I check X like it’s the newspaper , looking 👀 for any updates on #ReleaseCoyoteVsAcme . There is still some hope .

The animation from Coyote vs Acme was an awesome Roger Rabbit style. Wile E Coyote is an absolutely amazing character and definitely deserved to have this movie released . Had the pleasure of actually interacting with him (well his puppet ) in a scene and it was hilarious. What do you think of his look ?

Well , we’ve heard quite a bit of bad news lately involving #coyotevsacme as we now know for certain that @wbpictures has written off 115 million involving animated films . I am sure most of us assume Coyote vs Acme is part of that write off (they probably did so soon after they rejected offers) but this is all pure speculation. The fact that they have not even mentioned it is worrisome as well but I will say we should not leak the film . Could you imagine the film being leaked and they use it against us. I mean I get it , I myself got excited when rumors circulated about people having it but nothing is official. Just need to keep pushing , it’s not over just yet even though it feels like it in some ways . Also, I wouldn’t believe everyone out there that says they have a copy of the film..photo credit to @clement_diolot !!

This photo was posted from DEADLINE and is yet another peak into the film #coyotevsacme . It sounds like they are trying to get the money back they spent on the movie which was $70 million and had offers from 30-50 million . Sell it for $50 million make some money back and move on . Petition now close to 13,500. How about we make a new movie “The People vs David Zaslov” and take him to court .

As I mentioned in an earlier post , I personally will not repost the detailed plot (this is not the script but basically a breakdown of the film ) but can confirm the scenes I worked on were accurate but of course PLENTY is missing . Also I will absolutely say that if you are amazed by the plot itself just imagine watching it in action . I can 100% tell you that the scenes I worked on had everything you can ask for ..comedy , anger , sadness and more . I kinda feel like that annoying fly that is buzzing in their ears but my passion for this film is bigger than you can imagine . As a former medic in the Army and as anyone knows in general, it is always great to feel a pulse . We may of thought #CoyoteVsACME was flatlined but all of your awesome support has given the possible release of this film a pulse . #ReleaseCoyoteVsAcme keeps on going , even when it gets quiet . Let’s keep breathing life into this film in hopes that one day it will breathe on its own worldwide .

I know people are seeing this and maybe have lost hope . There is a difference between a write off and a write down . The difference is as follows: A write-down reduces the value of an asset for tax and accounting purposes, but the asset still retains some value. A write-off reduces the value of an asset to zero and negates any future value. I am not sure what the heck is going on over there but #ReleaseCoyoteVsAcme

Let’s maintain that level of excitement for Coyote vs Acme . The fact that we won this battle is monumental and if it even convinces one studio not to write off a completed film …..that’s an even bigger victory . Many of you know I have been fighting for the #ReleaseCoyoteVsAcme since the beginning and I was not a principle role. I was a background artist for this particular film because I wanted to be in it for sentimental reasons. I lost my son 4 months prior to filming and he was a big John Cena fan when he was younger. My mother was also a huge @JohnCena fan . Being on this film set meant a lot to me and having the opportunity to work alongside home was fantastic . Be understanding that he is definitely entitled to his opinion and he did believe the film was good . Him saying that businesses have reasons for what they do does not mean he thinks it should have been shelved . It is not up to @JohnCena , it is up to @wbpictures . As I’ve stated before , the chances of it actually being released are very slim, especially without any major changes .They still have not made it official but we may soon have to come to terms with the fate of #coyotevsacme . I will keep on posting , keep on advocating for the release of this film . There is absolutely nothing wrong with fighting for the film and making a point that completed work should not be canceled . Ultimately, it is their movie ….BUT it wouldn’t be their movie without the cast and crew who made it ….and they wouldn’t be in existence without the fans who buy the tickets .

Perhaps another bidder comes out of left field but the asking price is pretty high . Nothing is official until it’s official but we are pretty much on the side of trying to change their minds by releasing #ReleaseCoyoteVsAcme themselves or lowering that asking price . Trust me , they hear the noise but it is going to take a TON more convincing . So what needs to happen here is we fight 100x harder than before . Tag @wbpictures , let them know you are pumped up to see this film . Let them see that they can make a profit if it’s released . With Samy Burch saying that talks are still ongoing I’d have to believe that #CoyoteVsAcme will be released one day . Warner has not mentioned it in awhile which would make sense if talks are still happening . I know many of you are tired of waiting , tired of this whole ordeal but every comment , every repost , every drawing and all that you do matters. Talks are most likely ongoing still because of all the backlash , all the cast and crew voicing their displeasure. Most importantly, the audience who pays to see these films have spoken and many of want to see it. Salems lot finally had an update and I bet we will get a positive one for #ReleaseCoyoteVsAcme one day . Just keep on talking about it. It’s not over yet .

It truly feels at this point that @warnerbros is literally laughing in our faces regarding Coyote vs Acme. They only put it up for sale after the initial backlash. My honest opinion, they had absolutely no intention of selling it anyway. This was all just to shut people up for a bit until it all fades away . This makes my heart so happy 😁. The Day the Earth Blew Up received great reviews and tons of laughs . As we pretty have figured out that @wbpictures does not want to #releasecoyotevsacme another @LooneyTunes film that is completely animated in 2d , crushes its screening . When #thedaytheearthblewup comes to theaters let’s make sure we support this film . You are doing two things …1. Showing that there is still major interest in Looney Tunes films and 2. Showing that they can be successful in the box office . As I stated before #coyotevsacme may very well be a done decision and odds it will not see the light of day but this new film is great way to enjoy our favorite looney tunes characters on the big screen . I am seeing a lot of posts saying #CoyoteVsAcme has been deleted and shelved but with the recent news that Samy Burch gave about talks still ongoing , I don’t believe it would be deleted already . Keep in mind that @wbpictures has not said anything official since reversing course . We are basing everything on speculation. As of now , let’s ride with it still being shopped. #ReleaseCoyoteVsAcme is still happening. Also , I understand the frustration but saying “how is _____ being released but not Coyote vs Acme ?” doesn’t really help. In my opinion , all of this completed work deserves to be seen , let the audience be the judge of how good it is . Keep the focus on getting #CoyoteVsAcme released , not questioning why other things are being released . Trust me , I get it lol , you wonder why certain things get the time of day but not this film . Hello my friends !! So funny I saw this and said I WISH. There is a presumptive release date haha but unfortunately there is no actual update on #releasecoyotevsacme . I recently updated all of you with some not so good news as I am under the impression from very reliable sources that @wbpictures isn’t planning on doing anything with #CoyoteVsACME . There is a huge part of me though that still has hope it will see the light of day . Every morning I wake up is a difficult morning but I keep on pushing . I miss my parents , I miss my son but I keep pushing forward and do what I love. A few months ago I started a petition to reverse the horrible decision of deleting #coyotevsacme as this movie was made here in New Mexico and everyone involved worked so hard to make this film . It has a deep personal meaning to me as well as @johncena was my moms favorite wrestler and my son was a big fan . I don’t do much background work anymore but the moment I saw a movie with @JohnCena was being made I quickly applied to be one of the ACME lawyers. I got the part and even shared screen time with him. This was such a happy moment as filming only took place just 4 months after losing my son . It gave me joy to be on that set , I knew my mom and son were so proud . @dgreenmachine hand picked me to sit beside Cena in a scene and I was ready to cry because of the significance of it . While on set I just saw how much fun everyone was having , how hard everyone was working and knew this would be an awesome film . We celebrated a reversal on the decision to scrap the film ..my petition quickly gained 10,000 signatures and @warnerbros was ready to sell . Well waking up this morning I see the news that David Zaslov didn’t even watch the film , that they turned down all offers and didn’t really take releasing this film seriously . To do it to us once was cruel …to do it to us again is a downright abomination. I swear if I could raise the damn money to release this film I would. I wish I had money for a lawyer because this is absolutely cruel and he should be sued .
