I think @BoredApeYC should consider an advisory council from other NFT communities. Not whales. Not people with the biggest followings. Real community members. This would provide outside perspective and keep them tapped into the overall NFT market.

EXCITING PERSONAL NEWS! Today, I’m starting a part-time consulting role with @doodles! My goal is to work with companies that are doing innovative, disruptive, transformational work. Gonna give very real, very actionable advice here that changed my life. It came via @naval on a podcast. When something happens, look on the bright side. Consciously think and/or say it. Someone cuts you off in traffic? Grateful I avoided an accident. Forgot to get chicken when you were shopping? Boom - I don’t have to cook and I get order dinner. Your kid got a bad grade in school? You now have a reason to help them solve a problem, ease their concerns, and teach them problem solving. You can find a bright side in almost anything in life. The more you do it, the more you train the muscle in your brain, and it becomes an unconscious natural default mode. I was already an optimistic person. Doing this every day has made me way more happy, less stressed, and a better friend/husband/father. It doesn’t mean you don’t feel the bad feelings. Feel them, recognize them, respect them, and flip it. Try it for two weeks. I promise it’s an exercise worth doing.

…and he said, “even though I don’t understand what it is you do for a living, I’m damn proud of you.” That meant so much coming from him, a person who was wildly successful from humble beginnings. He provided a life for me that anyone would be lucky to have… (2/3)

Sharing some very tough personal news - Starbucks has decided to sunset Odyssey. There’s a ton of uncertainty about my future now because I just lost my full-time job, but I'm doing my best to look at the positives. I'm incredibly grateful for Starbucks and the opportunity they provided me. In the last 15 months, I had the chance to work with one of my favorite brands on the planet. I learned from the best and brightest minds in customer loyalty, and throughout my role as Community Lead for the beta program, I was allowed to be myself every step of the way. I’ll really miss spending every single day with the amazing community. From the silly inside jokes, to the custom gifs, to our shared obsession with coffee…it’s a special group. I wish I didn’t love and care about that community so much…it would make this a lot easier if they weren’t so awesome. I don’t know what the future holds for me. My world is rocked; this is a massive and sudden change for me. But as I ponder it, I’ll be drinking a grande cold brew and chowing down a birthday cake pop from the world’s best coffee company. I won’t be commenting on behalf of Starbucks, or about the Starbucks Odyssey program, in any way.

Right now @fundstrat is the most compelling voice talking crypto in tradfi. He doesn’t come across as a dogmatic cult member, laser-eyed maxi, or decentralization purist. Instead, he lays out a logical case for BTC and ETH through a business and market lens. As ETF inflows continue and more companies adopt blockchain as superior tech, I’m sure we’ll hear more from Tom. And, eventually, his peers will follow as the vision clicks for them. Web3 is so vast and expansive that it's hard to know every part of every ecosystem. This morning, some kind people in the @Cardano community gave me a high-level download on the world of ADA. This is one of my favorite things about Web3. There are people with deep knowledge of every cryptocurrency, NFT brand, decentralized protocol, dAPP, and DeFi project, ready to onboard others. The passion runs deep, helping people like myself (who literally works in Web3) and others stay current. We all get smarter together. Now...time for me to explore ADA a bit!

Women deserve better representation in NFT projects. Projects like @worldofwomennft are AWESOME, but it's not fair that women need to find a female-specific project if they want to see themselves in NFTs. More projects should be integrating female traits into random mints IMO.

I don’t know how Inspect gathers data, but anytime I’ve looked I’m 40-60. I tweeted about Solana twice and I’m top 10. Solana has a bigger footprint than I realized. I knew they were a clear second place, but the response I’m seeing is huge. Definitely gonna learn more about SOL.

A year ago today I spent 0.3 ETH on a picture of a monkey. I wanted to be part of @BoredApeYC because all the people with Ape PFPs were so kind to me as I learned NFTs. A year later, this jpg has changed my life in ways I never could have imagined. Thank you, BAYC.🛥🦧

I've see some people calling the top on BAYC/Yuga, and even the NFT market as a whole. My read is many of them are burned out and projecting that to the market. I empathize, but I believe we're still VERY early. IMO the tech and these Web3 brands have transformative potential.

The @BoredApeYC merch drop was an absolutely terrible member experience. People who couldn't make it to Hong Kong already felt left out. This made it worse. In case you missed it: - The tech failed at drop. - They shut it down and didn't give timeframes on the reopening, despite it being 10:41 pm on the east cost of the United States. - They reopened it at almost 1am on the east coast. - The tech failed again. - Now, many items are sold out, including the one most people (myself included) really wanted, the hoodie below. I just don't get how this keeps happening on drops and releases. There are less than 6,000 Apes and less than 12,000 Mutants holding a high-priced membership pass. That's a relatively small number. Why not guarantee apparel for all of them? In an attempt to drive FOMO through scarcity, you have members feeling left out and upset. Instead of the timeline full of excited holders, I'm seeing people who are upset. I don't say this to FUD BAYC. I love BAYC. I love this community. But today I find myself feeling left out and hurt. Ugh.😔
