Today Israel marks 1,000 days since the October 7, 2023 massacre, when Hamas terrorists stormed southern Israel, murdering 1,200 people and kidnapping 251 others in the deadliest day for the Jewish people since the Holocaust. The October Council, representing bereaved families, hostage families, and survivors, has called on the Israeli public to join a day of remembrance, beginning at 6:29 AM (local time) and culminating in a central rally at Hostages Square in Tel Aviv. People across the country also paused for a national moment of silence. Throughout the day, the square will host testimony circles with bereaved families, survivors, hostage families, reservists, and residents of the border communities and the north. 1,000 days later, Israel continues to remember, to mourn, and to stand together. May the memories of all the victims of that horrific day be forever a blessing. 🇮🇱

Antisemitism has no place in healthcare. Yet a new investigation into the NHS' maternity and neonatal services found explicit antisemitic attitudes among staff, leaving some Jewish women afraid to reveal their identity while giving birth. @StandWithUsUK

The U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations called on the international community to stop funding UNRWA, stating that its schools "indoctrinate hatred of Jews and glorify terrorism" and arguing that the organization has become "a subsidiary of Hamas," with employees who took part in the October 7, 2023 massacre. @jeff_bartos

Born in Tel Aviv and the son of Maccabi Tel Aviv legend Derrick Sharp, Emanuel now becomes just the fourth Israeli to reach the NBA. HISTORIC MOMENT IN JERUSALEM 🇮🇱🇺🇸 Israel and the United States are signing an agreement marking the relocation of the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem from its temporary premises to its permanent home. This is more than a diplomatic milestone. It is a powerful affirmation of Jerusalem as the eternal capital of the Jewish people and the State of Israel. @gidonsaar @GovMikeHuckabee

Israeli startup @MagosSystems has signed a deal to supply hundreds of its AI-powered radar systems to the IDF, providing early-warning detection against fast-evolving drone threats. The deal comes directly in response to Hezbollah's escalating drone war on Israel's northern front. Just weeks ago, an IDF probe found that a Hezbollah drone armed with an explosive killed a tank battalion commander and three soldiers. The new radar system uses AI to detect and classify drones in real time, even in difficult weather, filtering out false alarms while alerting troops only when a genuine threat is approaching. This is Israeli innovation working to save soldiers' lives. 🇮🇱

Even in the midst of war, Israel shows up for the world. Israeli rescue teams have deployed advanced XTEND drone technology in Venezuela, working alongside Mexico's renowned "Topos" rescuers to locate survivors trapped under the rubble. AI-powered drones are mapping safe routes in 3D, scanning for signs of life, and guiding rescuers into high-risk zones faster and safer than ever before.

The California Faculty Association has an antisemitism problem. The latest example? Trying to strip away civil rights protections on California college campuses. "the law did not silence free speech - it established a clear line between constitutionally protected expression and conduct that violates university rules and Jewish students’ civil rights by shutting them out of their own university.” jewishinsider.com/2026/06/ca…

The IDF has permanently sealed the massive underground tunnel complex where the body of Lt. Hadar Goldin was held by Hamas for over a decade. Goldin was killed in 2014 during the Gaza War while defending his unit from an ambush; his remains were taken by Hamas and held hostage until 2025. The IDF poured over 30,000 cubic meters of concrete into the network to permanently seal it. The 16-kilometer (10-mile) tunnel system included roughly 80 living quarters and served as a Hamas command-and-control center. Located near the Philadelphi Corridor, the complex ran directly beneath a residential neighborhood, mosques, kindergartens, clinics, a school, and a UNRWA facility. This is the infrastructure of terror Hamas built, hidden beneath the lives of Gaza's own civilians. via: IDF

Rom Braslavski, who was held captive by Palestinian Islamic Jihad for 738 days after being kidnapped from the Nova festival in Israel, on October 7, 2023, received a phone call from Israeli security officials informing him that "Abu Yousef," Talal Abd al-Aal, the terrorist who tortured him throughout his captivity, had been finally eliminated. Rom shared in the past how he was bound hand and foot, starved, and covered in bruises while close to death, as the terrorist forced his mouth open and spat into it. He says Abd al-Aal personally gave the order to tie him up and abuse him, and on multiple occasions, Abd al-Aal's own hands nearly killed him. "Now I can finally say with one hundred percent certainty, I won," Rom wrote. @RomBraslavski
