Big update for @Stakingverse and LUKSO staking. We are currently onboarding a new node operator: @DevM8B. By taking this step, we are unlocking staking capacity on LUKSO responsibly, while strengthening decentralization, client diversity, and network resilience. Stakingverse has grown into a major part of LUKSO staking. That is good for $LYX holders, but it also means we need to be responsible about concentration. We do not want Stakingverse-controlled infrastructure to become too large a share of the network. By working with M8B as an additional node operator, we can increase staking capacity while improving validator and client diversity. M8B has been active in blockchain, DeFi, and node operations for years, and has worked across multiple projects in Web3. We have also worked with M8B for years and have full confidence in their technical expertise, reliability, and operational discipline. M8B has also been an advisor to Stakingverse since day one. They have been involved from the early stages, so this is not a random new operator relationship. It feels like a logical and trusted next step with a team that already understands Stakingverse, LUKSO, and the standards we want to maintain. M8B will operate under the Stakingverse setup, so the liquid staking token remains the same: $sLYX. Users will not need to switch to a different liquid staking token or fragment liquidity across multiple staking derivatives. A key part of this onboarding is client diversity. M8B will run node clients that are currently underrepresented on LUKSO, and in any case different from the clients used by the existing Stakingverse setup. This helps reduce correlated risk and contributes to a more stable network. We believe it is important that $LYX holders have access to staking. LUKSO staking should not stay blocked for any longer, for the sake of the network. That is why we are taking this step carefully: • experienced node operator • new operator infrastructure • better client diversity • shared $sLYX liquidity • phased capacity increases • safety-first onboarding We expect to start next week by opening the first 1 Million $LYX of new staking capacity in batches. The initial capacity of our LUKSO Pool is almost filled! What happens next: As soon as we hit the limit of 320,032, the first validator of our second Node (and server) will be activated. That's because the first 320K is running on Node 001, the very next 32 LYX deposited will be the first $LYX validator running on Node 002. In this way we verify that our next Node (server) is running properly and everything is stable before we allow Node 002 to accept more than 32 LYX. This puts in place checks to minimize the possibility of errors. Recap: When we hit 100% capacity, we test the next node for stability on the @lukso_io mainnet and allow the deposit queue to build without being put at risk. When all checks are passed, and the queue has been stabilized we will increase the deposit limit on the smart-contract (Pool) and allow you to deposit more $LYX into the 2nd Stakingverse Node. Since we had some questions about the time to stake and unstake, here some extra information: The queue’s to stake are decreasing, at the moment it takes about 2 days until all of your $LYX is staked but you will receive rewards from the moment you deposit! You can unstake max 1600 LYX immediately, if you want to unstake more your witdrawal will be pending a couple of days until you can claim it. If you spread unstaking over a couple of days, you can multiple times claim 1600 $LYX without waiting in the queue to unstake. To send messages in any chat, you'll need to hold either the $SMC Card or the Stakingverse Appreciation NFT. However, everyone can always read messages in the chats and the announcement channel. Log in with your @ERC725Account to mint your GroupFi username. If you hold the Stakingverse Appreciation NFT, you'll gain access to the exclusive "Stakingverse OG's" chat, while $SMC Card holders can only access the "Stakingverse Chat." The GroupFi chat feature is cross-DApp within the @lukso_io ecosystem. For example, if @_universalpage integrates it, Stakingverse users will be able to chat with Universal Page users. Our LYX Pool continues to grow and our customers tell us they are happy with the excellent APY they are earning! Some context about the metrics we show. - APY: The APY is a 7-average calculated by the rewards we receive versus the total staked balance of the pool. At the moment our APY is slightly lower since we have a lot of $LYX that has been deposited recently, so it takes a couple of days for the average to go back up again. The expectation is that the APY will go up to 9-11% again soon. - Pool Capacity: We have basically unlimited capacity, it is a security measure to limit our capacity. As soon as we hit 100%, it will trigger our 3rd server to become active, we verify that everything is working before fully opening the server and increasing the capacity to 960,032 #LYX. This will again trigger the first validator of our 4th server to become active and we repeat the process. Of course, we will keep an eye on our total share of the @lukso_io network and will not exceed any healthy limits. #LUKSO #Staking #Stakingverse
