It's helping me develop a game I always wanted to see made.
So after a quarter century, of them no touching an abandoned IP, I'm making the game I always wanted a sequel to.
It went from a yellow square, to a flat biome map, to a 3d biome map, but I built it wrong, and the tiles were sideways, to what I have now. Loading custom obj files, making meshs from them, colliding with them.
And I'm working on implementing different camera type volumes to be used by "camera volumes". Which change what the camera does if the player is inside them. Instead of hard coding each volumes camera values. As I'll need special camera that follow the player up of down.
I also have map loading and transition volumes. So it's coming along nicely.
What's that saying? Make it work, you can make it look good later?
AI made it possible for anyone to "create" (in the loosest sense of the word) anything they want, and most people just use it to bash their action figured together.
"Look, I made Spider-Man fight Neo from the Matrix!"
