My dog katana passed away yesterday October 31, 2024. She was in a lot of pain as she got older. She could not see, couldnt hear, and hardly walk. Rather seeing her in pain we made the difficult decision to end her suffering. Im okay. I cared about her but i know that doing this was the right thing to do and only part of nature. I hit an 8 year anniversary this year. 8 whole ass-kicking years of creating, on this account. I also used to stream on another account “CorvoLIVE” and that adds up to roughly 10 years (in August.) Ive done some pretty damn incredible things. Ive got the opportunity to work along side the people I’ve idolized, all my life. From members of @FaZeClan to amazing talented recording artists, and critical cogs/devs in the gaming industry. Ive been privileged to work along side @Roblox and its many talented creators/staff helping run their streaming department while it was around. Ive had the prestigious honor to work along side the biggest and most renowned companies on the face of the earth like @Disney and @shure All of this, is trumped… by the people I have been blessed with in my life. That have come day after day that continue to impact my life and have chosen to spend their time on this earth, with me. You guys know who you are. No matter where i go the next 10 years, I will always be grateful for you. You make such the difference in my mental health. You guys are the real boneheads. The real reason I’m still going. These last few months have been a bit rough, mentally. Ive been having a hard time wondering why I’m still doing it “when I’m not successful.” So this is more of a message to myself. That I need to be more grateful for how far I’ve come and how resilient/persistent you’re made me. To never give up. Im thankful for you. ❤️ If theres anything I could tell myself in the past, it would be, “enjoy the ride” If theres anything i could tell others, “a number, no matter how big, isnt forever; relish those moments.” Thank you for reading. Im unemployed. I have been laid off twice this past year. I apply daily to “real” jobs both in and out of my field and I’m not even given an opportunity of an interview. Twitch is my only source of income now. I stream 6-8 hours / 5 days a week. I perfect my craft off stream by spending countless hours: illustrating, motion designing, editing, networking, etc. in the hopes of having a better opportunity. I do that. Not you twitch. I don’t know about other streamers but frankly I cant keep fighting for scraps!! By twitch’s standard, we are forced to increase pre rolls to 3 minutes for every hour for an measly 5% increase of ad revenue while partners no matter how big or small are given hundreds to thousands in extra bonus revenue a month for doing the exact same thing?!? The domino effect in this is it ends up hurting viewership anyway. Because it makes people leave, causing less revenue anyway!! I understand partners are different and have special privileges, but to cut us out entirely when its obvious you can afford to split it evenly if not more is absurd! 5%?! What difference does that really incentivize me when im only getting 0.0035 cent an ad view anyway?! I know my worth twitch, 55% ads and 50% subs aint it. Do better.

This isnt noteworthy news to me to be frank. Its not like the word is said day after day in every cod lobby anyway.
