Thanks @CryptoCaro for outing these scammers. The red flags were there but the euphoria was covering our eyes.

Our dev is working on something to give back to the community. @BasedBOBR will bounce back from this.
This time, the scammers targeted a specific community on telegram and got them to mint.
Again, pretending to be a Doodle in order to gain immediate trust and promises of awareness and a $10k prize.
We weren't quite quick enough as there were a number of mints completed but at least they didn't mint out completely.
Shout out to @SOCryptooo who acted quickly and swiftly for his community to minimise any further potential damage.
