Glad to join Reps. @RepScottPeters and @RepJackBergman as an original cosponsor for a bipartisan resolution recognizing June as National Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS) Awareness Month. Many PTS responses remain unreported, undiagnosed, and untreated due to a lack of awareness and persistent stigma associated with mental health treatment. This month and every month, we must continue to work to raise awareness and recognize the impact of PTS on service members and their families.

The Supreme Court ruled today to allow political parties to spend unlimited money when coordinating with a candidate to support their campaign. This will allow special interests to funnel even more money to candidates, giving them undue influence on our elections. This is a bad ruling and I continue to support legislation to get big money out of politics and to prevent members of congress from trading stocks.
