I rewatched the Colorado-Florida 2nd half. We had 1 official on own page. It was the worst tournament game I've seen officiated in several years. If you advance that crew you are sending a message that poor performance is ok if you have a big name. Curry should be sent home

People are asking for my opinion. Here it is and then I’m done going back and forth on it: This is an offensive foul. Arm extension, forearm push off. Ask yourself - does this move give UH player competitive advantage? Yes, he and it does - has to be called. Big miss imo
This wasn't called an offensive foul, game over.. #Purdue

Some will think this is funny, but there needs to be a serious conversation about Dan Hurley and the UConn staff's behavior. It is all game long, non-stop abuse. It does not help his team win. If I ran a conference, I'd back the officials up. Time to push back on this behavior
Hurley said team trainer, James Doran, was called for the first technical... "I had a lot of issues with what went on there."

So Dan Hurley wants the officials to give his team more calls because they won back to back titles. What a clown. He complains and abuses officials at every call that goes against them, and then he wants a favorable whistle because of prior year results? Insane. He is crazy
Dan Hurley tells @CBSSports he doesn't feel his OT technical cost UConn the game. "I think it was the shitty calls," he said, adding, "I would expect to come to play in an event, and I don't know too many back-to-back national championship teams that get that type of a whistle."

This angle is better to me for analysis. #55 looks like a clean, legal boxout and #55 is definitely shorter and smaller than #13. That said, #13 jumps, it is not #55’s fault or penalty for boxing out. I think this is an unfortunate fall for #13 but I don’t see this as an F1 foul

Officials must not have seen thrown. If thrown by UConn, should be a Technical foul. The UConn HC and bench is the worst behaved in college basketball. Unacceptable behavior and childish. Should be zero leash in 2nd half for that bench.
A pen just came flying from the UConn bench out to halfcourt. Purdue's Braden Smith saw it, picked it up, gave the proof to a game official and shouted: "From the bench!" The official returned the pen to the UConn bench with a warning.

One thing I’ve got to say about Roger Ayers. Obviously a great official. But watching him work you can’t tell if he is doing an ACC buy game, a CAA game or the Final Four. He hustles and treats every game like it’s the National Final. It’s one of many reasons coaches love him.

These crews and replay officials move around but it is just uncanny how seemingly all of these controversial replay plays seem to involve Auburn this year. Kind of like Miami last year. Just bizarre

Jim Nantz is a legend, but Ian Eagle has elevated this crew of 3 from meh to awesome. Raf is great and Grant Hill has come into his own. A great PxP guy is a facilitator and assist creator. Ian is that times 1000

Our Crew this evening…. Jeffrey Anderson is highly regarded and famous @highkneesref . He went to Big Ten primary this year. Roger Ayers as good as they come. ACC heavy. Loved by coaches. Terry Oglesby doing 3rd straight title game. Best in business right now.

Alright so officials please take note. Even in a situation where someone believes it is 100% a clear foul, depending on the time and score, don’t call it! That will surely help increase public perception about officiating. 👍🏻🤦🏻‍♂️ Can’t win on here!
Here’s the deal: 1. It was 100% an offensive foul on Aaliyah Edwards. Her slight lean into the screen, her arm placement on the screen and Gabbie Marshall fighting over it accentuates that. 2. IMO, you do NOT make that call in that spot during that time of the game. Let the PLAYERS determine the outcome. Both points can be true. Feel so bad for UConn. What a great season for a mostly undermanned squad this season. #MarchMadness2024 #MarchMadnessWBB

Absolutely embarrassing for NCAA Women’s Officiating. Also for Tommi Paris….. were you hoping they didn’t catch you? Plenty of other games for her to work….. Just flat out embarassing
Replying to @linzsports
Just absolutely wild that the NCAA didn’t catch that one of the officials was an alum of the school playing in the game until after it began. It’s on her LinkedIn!! Also, why didn’t she recuse herself? Here’s the full statement from the NCAA:
