A season that started with Big 12 title/CFP hopes, Heisman Trophy talk and a 7-1 record ends at 8-4 and likely an underwhelming bowl game.
An indictment on everyone at K-State. But it comes down to coaching. Chris Klieman and his staff failed the team this year.
And that’s not to say he shouldn’t be the coach. You’re insane if you think that. But this team had issues obvious to even a casual college football fan. And they didn’t fix them.
He has to make changes. If he runs it back with the same staff next year, support is going to dwindle FAST.
