Great description from @micahspruill on the @nirvana_fi protocol itself! Here is one strategy that I’m seeing a lot of people run on Nirvana. Still needs a name… 🤔 A strategy where they stash gains they made elsewhere into $ANA. Borrow $NIRV against, swap to USDC by buying ANA with NIRV, then selling ANA to USDC. So instant max borrow. Reducing $ exposure to token and protocol by 50-60% right away. Taking those $$’s elsewhere to make money. And cycling any gains they make back through Nirvana in this way. Each time the floor raises, they can borrow 1% more against their position. They have no intention to ever repay the NIRV loan (negative interest rate loan) The idea being that eventually, they’ll have recouped all of their initial cost once floor price doubles from their entry. From there, each time the floor raises, they make another 1% gain on their position, withdraw it as profit. Tax-free gains because it’s debt (from a negative interest rate loan) All the while their staked ANA is also paying a 30-45% yield as prANA, and their staked prANA is paying them a share of protocol revenue. Never unwinding or selling. But making tax free gains on debt position over time. And rev share (taxable) gains on prANA position over time. This strategy is pretty much (3,3) in its final form. In that they can actually stake indefinitely and secure a profit along the way. (♾️,♾️)
