I've known @nikitabier for five years and we’ve gotten even more close because of @useintro during the past two. He is the real deal. He’s changed a lot of lives by advising through Intro. I’ve seen it first hand. Taking on the Head of Product role at X is no small feat. Impressively, with a small team (<10), bold action, and taste, he and @elonmusk are steering X back to the 2010s glory days. A small team with taste and the right pulse on the zeitgeist reduces the need for endless A/B testing. They just know what to build and how to build it. I'm glad @elonmusk saved X and hired Nikita. The platform is finally making all of the right moves which will set the foundation to it becoming the everything app in the near future.

Serious moment. A common feeling I have as an entrepreneur is guilt. I feel guilty when I go out to dinner, when I spend time with friends, go to a doctors appointment, etc. I feel guilty because I’m not giving my company all of my time. Some may think this type of thinking is nuts (and it is), but so many other entrepreneurs I know feel the same. When it came to me and my wife taking paternity (she is also a CEO), we were hesitant. But your vocal support of this put us over the edge and she took 3 months and I took 1.5 months. Looking back, I’m so glad we did. The love and bonding that occurred during this time between our family was immeasurable. I would have hated myself if I didn’t take it and it would have been one of my biggest regrets. With all that said, I want to thank you. Just on that act alone, you earned a place in my heart as one of the best investors in the world, and more importantly, a wonderful human being. @katelin_cruse you included 🙏

“If I gave you $1M, would you feel great?” “Yes. I’d be grateful” “What if I gave you $10M? How would you feel?” “I would feel like I can finally breathe and enjoy life. I would feel extremely grateful” “What if I gave you $10M, but on one condition, you couldn’t wake up the next day” “I wouldn’t take it” “So you value waking up more than $10M?” “Yes” “Then shouldn’t we extremely grateful just for waking up everyday?” “Damn. Yes” It’s not just about the end point. Enjoy the journey. Find the moments, each and every day, that bring you gratitude. The little moments like waking up, your hand over your heartbeat, the look your partner gives you, the smile from your kid, the kind gesture from another person, and so on. If you’d can’t find these, take action and change it. You’re the writer of your own story. You can mold it however you’d like. I’m serious — you can be the story you want to write versus the ones you were told by others — and don’t forget to enjoy the process while you’re doing it 😊 Disclaimer: I don’t normally write cheesy tweets. I’m sharing a lesson I learned from a friend, that made an impact on my life, and I thought it was worth it this one time.

Just had an entrepreneur, who booked me on @useintro two years ago, connect with me again on Intro. He sold his last company and started a new AI company which TOTALLY BLEW me away. I don’t normally do this, but I asked to invest on the spot. In the past 24 hours, I’ve also intro’d him to some top tier angels and CEOs. Looks like many of them will invest too. When I commit, I really commit. Love this business and how much good it’s doing for deserving entrepreneurs.

I asked 50+ entrepreneurs who’ve built $100M+ businesses one simple question: What’s your playbook for creating a successful company? You won’t believe what I heard over and over and over again… “I actually don’t have one, it's mostly in my head, but I would’ve died for one while growing my business. Shoot, I’d still love to have one.” This got me thinking… What if I tap @useintro's network of successful founders to put together an INCREDIBLE playbook on how to build a successful company? Is this something you’d all want? Before you answer…read this. I’m generally nervous to put out content online, because I’m somewhat private and always had this limiting belief that I’m not as smart everyone else. I also suck at writing lol (English is my second language), but who knows, maybe that’s another limiting belief. With that said, I’m ready to take on this challenge, “embrace the cringe” and put myself out there, as long as you all want it and find the content I put out extremely valuable to you. Soooo….if you're an entrepreneur, a business owner, or someone just interested in the topic of everything business, and you want me to post about the playbook, then let me know. Comment “interested” below and I’ll start posting. (Follow me @raadmobrem & bookmark this post)

It would be nice if certain people in the tech world did a little less hating on young startups. Today, an older 40+ yr old man who has a 100k followers on here and is an influential person in the tech world, took shots publicly on an app, built by younger 20+ year olds, for young people. Startups and entrepreneurship are amazing! To have the courage to take a chance on making your dreams come true is a beautiful thing. Especially if you’re young. We should celebrate this and look at the positive, versus nit pick the small things. Like I mentioned, today an investor picked on an app (meant for young people) that asks new users to invite five friends in order to get access. The app isn’t spamming and if new users don’t want to, they can just say no and be on their way. But he was appalled. lol why? Let’s be honest — to be a grown, mature adult, and care that deeply about a photo app, is strange. He doesn’t even invest in consumer social. I’m sure that person is a really nice person, but today, he was not and he was a bully. Why do I care about this? Like I mentioned, I love startups and know how hard it is to get one off the ground, so when someone who has some power takes shots on young entrepreneurs trying to figure it out, it sucks. It sucks for us who love technology. It sucks because it sets an example for others on here to be negative. It sucks for the very entrepreneurs he digitally sucker punched, especially on a day of celebration for them because they hit #1 on the AppStore. I support the team working on Lapse and wish them all the best. Congrats on getting to #1 @BenSilvertown @dansilvertown (Not an investor. Just a guy who hates bullies)

👀 When the founder of a $2B well-known company subscribes to an expert on @useintro. A big surprise for many is when they find out that CEOs and execs of companies (doing $10M-500M) use Intro to get specific advice. Even if they have a big network or have connected investors. Why? Because it’s much faster to book & get advice on Intro, compared to the traditional way of asking for an introduction, doing the etiquette thing, building rapport, and then getting the advice you need. 1-3 days vs 3-6 weeks

Here’s the thing. My goal wasn’t for this to get more reach (my bad), it was to call out this idea that we need to work 24/7 to become successful. I’ve seen companies (big and small) work 6-7 days a week and succeed. I’ve also seen companies do the same and fail. I’ve also seen companies work 40ish hours a week and succeed. The reality is that it depends on the business, the team, and many other factors. And 6+ days in the office is impossible if you have a little kid. 🤷‍♂️

Hi 👋 I’m Raad the CEO and cofounder. It’s nice to meet you! I understand your point, but counterintuitively, it’s been incredible to see what’s happened since we launched. (1) the amount of diverse founders who have shared their love for Intro is staggering. They’ve expressed that if Intro didn’t exist, they wouldn’t be able to get personalized advice from the same caliber of founders and investors. I’m middle eastern and I can unequivocally say this is true. It was extremely hard to break through and that shouldn’t be the case. Honestly, it shouldn’t. I’ve been on feedback calls with people who teared up over their positive experience, who just wanted to share their gratitude with the CEO. I’ve teared up. These moments have been beautiful. (2) We can pay it forward AND also offer a guaranteed way of access. They are not mutually exclusive. For businesses that are not tech related or for folks who do not have a strong network, being able to get access to top founders or investors quickly is simply a better user experience. I’ve paid thousands of dollars for conferences, flights, hotel, etc just for the 10% chance of meeting the right person. There should be a much easier way. Today’s tech industry is about 50x bigger than the early 2000’s. It’s simply not true that we’re all answering every cold email and LinkedIn DM, because the inbound is much higher. (3) Our mission is to give everyone access to anyone, empowering each other to create a better world. To do so, we need to be honest about why it’s so hard to get access to people in a frictionless way. Even for myself — I’m pretty connected, but it’s still hard to get access to so many people. Imagine if you’re not connected, live in a difference country, or do not come from a place of privilege…the truth is that it’s very hard. If Andrew or Spencer or Alli W. offered their services for free, they would be booked 24/7 — I’m not exaggerating because the demand is that high. Many of the experts need to charge simply to filter who’s serious and who is not. Plus they usually donate it to charity, further doing good for the world. To conclude, I’m beyond grateful to all of our experts and customers. Intro is growing like crazy, it’s working beyond my wildest expectations, and if you’re interested in helping us democratize access, we’re hiring! Intro.co/careers

Big news! Starting today, I'm available for 1:1 calls on @useintro to help the next generation of founders build the next unicorn. If you've ever wanted to pick my brain, now's the perfect time. Keep reading ⬇️ As the former CTO of HP ($120.B revenue), I’ve built products that are used by 500M+ people each day, and have been recognized by Vanity Fair as the “Innovation Guru”. These days, I get countless requests each week from entrepreneurs seeking advice on product, fundraising, and go-to-market strategies. Unfortunately, because of my day job as CEO of @CableLabs , I’m not able to get back to everyone how I’d like to. That’s why I’m excited to be on Intro and open a few slots each week to be your personal business mentor. It would greatly increase the startup’s chances of success and a massive return on my investment. I’m confident about this because I know what’s happening to the companies he’s advising and how fast they can grow when they listen.
Ladies & gentlemen: I’d like to share that I’m joining Lightspeed as a Product Growth Partner. I've been talking with @mignano for a couple years about working together and the stars finally aligned. BIG NEWS: i'm investing $30M in the next 45 days via the a16z SPEEDRUN program 😎 Yes, $750k per startup that joins the SPEEDRUN program plus obv it'll be a great way to work together on something. So come work with me at a16z's SPEEDRUN program -- we'll invest, work with you, expose you to the world's top investors/mentors, etc. here's the best place to apply: sr.a16z.com Important dates and program details Deadline: May 19, 2024 Notified of Selection: End of June at the latest! Program Dates: July 29 - Oct 20 in Los Angeles ☀️ Our intensive 12-week program is highly selective, with ~ 1% of applicants accepted in our last cohort. Participants are supported not just with capital, but also by a highly curated set of industry coaches, mentors, and a community of ambitious founders. 80% of companies from SPEEDRUN’s first cohort secured funding from investors following Demo Day. for example, in the most recent program, we had an amazing set of speakers: - Mark Pincus, cofounder of Zynga - Emily Greer, cofounder of Kongregate - Eros Resmini, cofounder of Discord - Kevin Lin, cofounder of Twitch - ... and dozens more What kinds of startups are we looking for? tbh -- we are very open-minded! Great teams with ideas, before a product is built, is totally fine. But we also have startups with real revenue, a great product out there already, etc. We are investing at the intersection of TECH x GAMES which means AI/infra, 3D tools, VR/AR, web3 games, gamified consumer apps, and much more. For AI and B2B startups, there's a huge advantage in being able to meet startups in your space as potential customers, and when you are working out product/market fit.

I vividly remember launching our early beta of @useintro. 400 people booked and completed sessions. During our feedback calls with them, they were over the moon. We even had some folks who teared up with me, explaining that they “would not have gotten access to these experts otherwise.” Grateful for this amazing feature by nitter.app/stephencouncil from nitter.app/SFGate on @useintro. Here's a quick preview: Intro, headquartered in Los Angeles and boasting investors like Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian and NBA star Kevin Durant, sets up tech business leaders with spendy mentees. It’s a model based on a simple claim: Some people’s advice is worth their time in gold. Raad Mobrem said he tested Intro by setting up 400 people with sessions and then calling each of them for feedback — he said eight of them teared up. “People were over the moon,” he said. “ They couldn’t believe that these people were willing to do this. They couldn’t believe that they showed up on the video call.” Some people’s advice is worth their time in gold. Comment "yes" & I'll reply with a link to the full article :)

Some of the most successful CEOs of public and/or unicorn companies are using @useintro to get personalized advice on their businesses. In the near future, if your business isn’t using Intro, you will be at a major disadvantage.
This tweet triggered some strong reactions—so let me explain what you get from a $10k/mo advisor: • You will know with certainty how your onboarding and share funnels will convert—before building them—and then have actionable guidance to fix them • You will get access to unpublished hacks in the iOS APIs that neither Apple or others are aware of • You will get direct access to top tier designers & architects who will make sure you build things right the first time • I will find the core value of the app and reposition it so it resonates with users Is the price too high? I’ll let you decide: • All subscribers are venture backed startups, publicly-traded companies, and 2 billionaires. • I am fully at capacity at current prices • 4 apps hit the Top 10 after subscribing. One company went for from $0 to $2.5m ARR in 90 days after helping redesign their app. I wish that making tech people rich could be a charitable exercise, but I don’t think the world works that way.

I think it’s important to do customer service as the CEO. It’s the best way to get a sense of what’s working, what’s not, and what could improve. Plus it’s a great way to create community and evangelism around your brand:

I always thought this. But then I met some founders who had the other extreme — confidence building (“you can do anything”) and extreme love from their parents

I can’t share this enough. The value that the @useintro experts are bringing people, each and every day, is on another level. The right bit of knowledge can change someone’s life trajectory, just, like, that 🫰 💥 Here’s another review that just came in for @SahilBloom

Good thing we did both! We raised a big round from Tier-1s, but acted like we raised a small one and stayed leaned, which allowed us OBSESS over our experts and consumers, and build an incredible experience. Best part — we’re just getting started and so much more to come!

Hi @elonmusk @x - I really love Twitter. Could you undo the change where the Nav bar transitions to hidden as we scroll. It’s a better experience when it’s present at all times. Currently the experience feels broken. Thank you!

Spend 5 yrs of your life building a consumer product, spend hours a day trying to reverse engineer other fast growing apps, spend through $3-10M in capital to only sort of grow. Or Work with Nikita through Intro for 4-10 months and figure out a personalized product/growth plan to build a viral app that is used by millions all over the world. Faster. Better use of capital. And in many cases, life changing. Intro.co/nikitabier

Having a good understanding of human nature, letting go of your own ego, asking yourself what do you not know, being able to understand the human conditions of the folks different than you, etc. and then distilling these into frameworks that can quickly get you to the right answer. Lastly, being able to understand how to seed, build, grow, and then scale a product (including growth) is critical to being great (caveat: you can learn the scale part later). If you have everything I just mentioned as a foundation, it increases your chances of actually listening to the customer and translating into a product that people want. More to say, but have to go

Hi 👋 CEO of Intro here. All I have to say is that Nikita Bier is a genius. You should book him, because the knowledge you’ll get will have a massive ROI. It’s why he gets a ton of rebookings and great reviews.

Something I realized today. Our kids follow the Hooked Model in terms of getting us (parents) to become obsessed with them. This model is the method in which IG, FB, Twitter, etc use to get us to not only come back to their product, but also make it into a habit forming daily use type of product. The stronger the frequency and drivers, the more obsessed we become over it.

I just found out that one of my clients on @useintro had his company acquired this past week. We changed his GTM, business model, and positioning. The result? His revenue grew very fast and now his company was just acquired. Life changing! I’m beyond thrilled for him!

Hi! I’m Raad, the CEO of @useintro 👋 it’s nice to meet you. I’m not exaggerating when I say this — the number of positive reviews we get for these sessions are incredible. When you recruit some of the most successful people in the world to give personalized advice to people who are seeking it, it’s usually a remarkable experience. Out of tens of thousands of sessions, we’ve had a 0.12% complaint rate. Very very small. Most of customers are now repeat customers, which is telling because they’re spending more on the platform as whole. Regarding the prices, if you’re a business and you get to chat with someone who’s done something similar to your business, very very successfully, the ROI on that actionable knowledge makes the prices look a lot more affordable, and in some cases a steal. The ROI rule of thumb one has to ask themselves: will the insights from the 1:1 help me generate 10x more in revenue compared to the cost of the session? Ex: if I spend $1k, will I then be able to increase my revenue by $10k. The answer is usually a very clear yes 😊

At the time when Venmo launched, it was still scary for folks to connect their bank account and send/receive money online. By adding the social feed, which illustrated that others were indeed sending/receiving money, it created enough self doubt in ones own paranoia, that it got those folks over the hump of connecting their bank and creating network density. A pleasant surprise: misrepresenting a transaction created a feed of funny memes, that young users would check, even when they didn’t have a payment to send/accept. All of this helped users build internal triggers or a habit of using Venmo when needing to pay friends.

I’m so proud of @JoeGuzel & @McLain for starting Haven Ventures. Joe acquired my last company when he was doing Corp Dev at Intuit and we ended up becoming very close friends. He then took a stab at VC and funded major hits like @Chime @step and more. Calling it — Midas List ‘25

I had the nicest thing happen to me today. I was on a run and a young guy stopped me. He recognized me from an @useintro ad. He told me that he booked a few sessions with founders on Intro & because of those sessions, he was going to take the leap to start his company. ❤️😊📈

Maybe I’m getting older, but I just don’t want to debate people who don’t get it (x). Instead I want to focus on the people who do get it (y). Why? It doesn’t matter how convincing you are to (x), they “just don’t get it” and will not try something new, until there a lot of (y)s being more vocal about it, making (x)s FEEL like they “just don’t get it.” (a thread…)

I purchased 5 really good seats to the @athlos event in NY on Oct 10. I was not given these tickets. Why did I buy them? Because (1) I went last year and it was an incredible experience — it’s WWE & track with olympians , and (2) my friends @sevensevensix @alexisohanian @katelin_cruse and team started it, so I love supporting new ventures with my dollars.

What happened in Israel yesterday was horrible. As a father and husband, to hear and see the videos coming out of Israel is heart-breaking. I’m so sorry to the Jewish community of Israel and the world. Israel has ever right to defend its country and I’m hoping that they bring justice to the people who orchestrated this dark moment for so many innocent people. I also hope that innocent Palestinians are able to get out safely, as well as the Israeli hostages taken to Gaza. As someone who is American, Persian and not Jewish, I also want to thank my Jewish brothers and sisters for sharing the news of this, bringing the attention of this atrocity to the world lens. I’m sending you and everyone who needs it, a lot of love ❤️. My heart hurts for you and I stand with you 🇮🇱 Hopefully one day we will have peace and love for everyone, no matter who we are, what we believe, who we love, and where we live ❤️

Not really. I’m pretty silent about it with my team and although I love my team, there’s a difference between founders and employees. Even if they love the company, it’s still a job to them and they can leave at anytime. Not the founders. I feel a big responsibility for : - my team - our investors - the mission - our customers - my own credibility (my name) It’s just different. Tough to explain

Wow! I’m grateful that @ryanrz was gracious enough to hear me out and then being open to advocate for Intro. Thanks to @andrewchen @nikitabier and others for calling this thread to my attention. As a result, everyone in the world can now get advice from the founder of JUMP 🤯
Plot twist: I signed up for Intro. 1) This won't change the time I spend paying it forward. I'll still take meetings via warm intros and well-crafted cold DMs. But this is a buy-it-now button for my attention and a quick way to get time. 2) I respect @Raadmobrem 's hustle...

I was having an exchange with my three year old where he said something witty. I responded by saying “Felix, that was really funny” and then he looks at me with a smile and says “daddy, I love you.” First time w/o me saying it first. I started to tear up — it was really nice
