I'm wondering if @jkenney should visit hospitals (can't send him pictures due to pt privacy) so he can realize an ACTUAL CRISIS already exists in the hospitals he's responsible for.
I’m getting pictures like this from grocery stores across Alberta this morning. This is turning into a crisis. It requires immediate action by the Canadian & US governments.

I'd encourage everyone to read the whole Statement Meanwhile here is my PERSONAL interpretation of the allegations in SoC and the events around it: 1-Athana aggressively recruited to CEO role by govt: they know she's highly competent and can be trusted buff.ly/3QmG6ie

So many thoughts come out of this reporting. I'll share some thoughts and questions that deserve attention and answers: Keep in mind, we're talking about HC Access and BILLIONS of taxpayer dollars here. 1/2 buff.ly/3Q9w0Ba

cbc.ca/news/canada/calgary/a… Congrats Alberta! We helped Canada win this prestigious distinction. Our Prov. govt has single handedly ushered this in... and yet we now have our own Health Minstry for Primary and Preventative Health Services... How's that working out AB?

Wow👇 Take a read folks. This needs to go to court AND we need a public inquiry to tie it all together so the public knows what has happened here.

You know what would help Albertans know just how much corruption has gone on? A Public Inquiry! This stuff is truly unbelievable! Govt will just deny, and pretend like someone is investigating this… They are NOT
From the sworn affidavit by the former AHS CEO Athana Mentzelopolous… On January 2, 2025 she states that she recorded a conversation with Evan Romanow, deputy minister of mental health and addictions. This is just a short section. #abpoli #ableg #cdnpoli

This is going to be a massive crisis across Alberta. More than 20,000 people in Lethbridge have no family doctor and there are ZERO family docs currently accepting patients in that area.
It was always the intention of the #UCP to push doctors and nurses out of the province.

WOW! Can’t tell you how many HCWs need to hear this… Hopeful other Provincial Leaders can change the deteriorating narrative too… Just WOW!

It greatly disheartens me, but at this point in time I would NOT advise any docs to continue practicing longitudinal FM in AB. Govt is not going to invest to make that type of practice viable. Do ANYTHING else… you have so many options. Our govt simply does not value FM
This is why I’m closing my practice. My lease is up. No way am I tying myself to another one, and there’s no business case to move to one of the many clinics looking for doctors. The responsibility is heavy. I have given up hope for help carrying it, so I have to set it down.

Let's recap why this HC Scandal matters 🧵: 1-bought meds that coulda killed infants 2-paid50m for undelivered products, coulda been used for HC needs now 3-sole source contracts, interferred w due diligence, at inflated prices (~615M alledged, we know of at this point)

Important to keep in mind that @CarrieTait has stated she shared these numbers w the Premier’s office before this presser… she could very well have been reading from the exact graphic that contains the ACTUAL AHS rates too Why would the Premier not read the actual AHS rates?
...@ABDanielleSmith wouldn't intentionally mislead Albertans, would she? #ableg #abhealth

Let's highlight why this is yet another blatantly obvious attempt to ensure ABs never find out what is really happening in our HC system 🧵 : Let's ignore for a second what might be in these emails Regarding AHS internal review... 1/11 buff.ly/ZIyWVSq
