The Flashbang sound frequency (2600hz) and loudness is a real issue in @CSGO. @valvesoftware really needs to do something because it is 100% triggering tinnitus (Ear damage).
There needs to be a setting to lower the 2600hz volume of a flash. It is easy to implement pls valve :(

I've decided to retire.
I'm grateful for the incredible 10-year journey in esports. It's amazing to reflect on the exceptional experiences that came from competing in such a beautiful sport. I feel privileged to be able to retire at the age of 24 and look back on the great memories from the past years.
Reasoning:
I have lost interest in competing and as a result, I am no longer driven to improve my skills in CS. I am not interested in pursuing something solely for money. I believe it's the appropriate moment for me to explore other passions that I have.
For those who are curious, I plan to dedicate some time to self-study. That's my main goal at the moment. I'll also be streaming some of my studies as I've done in the past.

I've coded a partial fix for the loud volume problem in CS:GO. It lowers the volume when you die. This allows you to still play at your normal volume but prevents useless sound exposure when you don't need it.

Holy moly! I managed to create REAL-TIME TRANSLATION subtitles for my stream. I've never seen this done before on twitch, it will change streaming.
Furthermore, I think real-time multi-language dubbs are coming within 2 years.

As you can see a lot of people have a real problem with this.
With people optimizing for every single footstep with dangerously high volumes they for sure are getting hearing damage. This ofc doesn't solve their mistake but at least helps rather than doing nothing.

It seems that CS:GO shooting normalized for the same running volume is 3 TIMES HIGHER (9dB[A]) than Valorant.
This is a serious problem if my testing is accurate.

This week, I've programmed a one of a kind realistic environment for my Study with me stream.
The objects are able to cast shadows on real life footage and even physically interact with reality (bounce off etc.) The reflections on the TV are actual reflections from my room. ->

I will do experiments with volume Pro Players use and monitor dB to assess how much damage would a typical daily 8 hour exposure do. From what I have tested so far it is looking really grim.
I will probably make a video as this really is an important subject.

Also I'm not saying that's the only frequency that CAUSES hearing damage. The 2600hz sine wave is very close to a tinnitus sound so it triggers it in people that already have it. The problem itself is complicated and this is only a part of the solution as stated. But its a start.
