Ok so the larger Bubbles Space ended, but after it was over I feel like I really got a feel for how cool this is. I started my own bubble and someone joined, and we just had a really nice conversation. This is something that never felt personal in the past with other apes online. Now it feels like real life, but on the internet.

Hmm i’ll think on it. Somethings can be taught. Instincts from taking photographs all my life a little more challenging lol. Tbh study photographers and movies. See where they place the camera, how they frame things. Best thing is pick 10 images you like and see what they have in common. Consider camera height, balance of objects in frame, lighting-where is the direction of light coming from? Towards the camera (backlight) from behind the camera (front light) from the side (side light). Get a real camera IRL is the best tbh. Start understanding optics. Focal length of the lens imo is #1 it all starts from there because its directly correlates to YOUR POV, how you/camera sees the world. It controls Field of View (how wide) depth of field (how much of the image is in focus) and style (roughly a 50mm sees how the human eye sees) so if you go wider your distorting reality, and longer lens (telephoto) also distorts reality. A wider lends expands depth between objects, if you have an ape and you wanna make them seem farther away from the background go with a wide lens. If you want the mountains and sun to seem larger and closer to your main subject use a longer lens. In Otherside you can control a simulated focal length/lens by zooming in and out. It does simulate reality of optics. Play with this. See what YOU like. #1 is get in tune with your style and what YOU like. Also Unreal Engine is amazing and simulates real life lenses/optics. Heres a tutorial on camera settings I did that mimics some things I do for cinematics. This covers things I mentioned above, focal length, field of view, depth of field. Start playing around in Unreal and in the Otherside. What I could do is we can load in together and I could host a “Photography Workshop” inside @OthersideMeta Any folks interested in that? @OsPhotoClub
