A large channel, Optimum Tech, covered the ULX and their XLAT tool which measures click latency.
This channel shows the LAMZU Atlantis having 15ms of click latency, which we believe is not transparent on how he did the test, very possible that he didn't set debounce time to 0ms.

Here's the tracking speed in real-time. By no means slow and should be enough to illustrate a difference. Yet there isn't one.
Remember, this is on a 540Hz monitor, so it's going to look less noticeable at 360, 240 etc.
But again, for smooth/slow motion 2khz and over is not needed at all. The faster the motion and larger the distance covered, the easier it is to notice the difference between different polling rates. Not sure about the velocity tested in the video.

New XLAT testing tool (open-source) for latency. Testing optical switch mice is a bit tricky (to find the correct wiring points), but it's super nice to have an isolated solution now.

For those asking about RTX 3090 viability in ITX cases, EVGA's XC3 seems to be the smallest that's on offer so far. Looks exactly 2-slot, ~120mm height, ~290mm length.
Given the short RTX 3090 PCB, waterblocks should be relatively compact also.
