Hey frendos, This post is a bit long and based on what I've learned working in BD around the perp DEX meta. If you're interested, bookmark it and read it when you have a few minutes. The general opinion is that the perp DEX meta is already over...But is it really? My opinion is pretty clear: Perp DEXs are here to stay. Just like today we have dozens of CEXs coexisting, I think in the future we'll have dozens of perp DEXs doing the same. Obviously there will be a lot of filtering and only the best ones will survive. Another thing people aren't paying enough attention to is MiCA. I'm not saying MiCA was made to help perp DEXs, but increasing regulation on centralized exchanges only makes decentralized alternatives more attractive over time. I think that's another reason why this meta is far from dead. The problem is that most crypto KOLs have no incentive to talk about perp DEXs. They'd rather promote a CEX paying them 70% referral commissions plus a fixed monthly payment. A perp DEX simply can't compete with that. Most of them offer a much lower fee share, points and maybe an airdrop in the future... but your followers can end up making a lot of money from that airdrop. So somehow the bad guy is the one sharing a perp DEX referral while earning much less, but the guy farming you through a CEX referral is perfectly fine? If you've made it this far, I hope at least you think twice before blindly following creators promoting CEXs. I'm saying this from experience after dealing with many of them while working in BD. Anyway... These are the perp DEXs where I'm personally putting my money. If I share something, it's because I'm farming it too.

Insane fees chart from @HyperliquidX . Then I see CT hating because “if there’s a second airdrop, price will dump and I’ll buy then.” Bruh, at this rate the AF is on track to buy 100% of the circulating $HYPE supply in 4 years. And if the current fees trend continues, we’re looking at $10M+ in daily fees, meaning $10M in daily buybacks. You shouldn’t be worried about a potential airdrop pushing price down. You should be worried there won’t be any circulating $HYPE left for you to buy.

After the success of the Hypio airdrops, I'm going to do a few posts on the most promising upcoming airdrops in the Hype ecosystem. The next ones coming up are @KittenswapHype and @HyperSwapX (unless the Hypio community surprises us with another super airdrop like the one organized by @Ramen_HL ). Let's start with Kittenswap: I'll copy the predictions that @Pasta_Capital made in his post: nitter.app/Pasta_Capital/status/1… This post speculated that @KittenswapHype could have an FDV of around 30M and therefore each 0.01% of points would be equivalent to $900. But of course, that was before, when the project had a TVL of 10-15M. With the current data, we have to take two things into account: 1. DEX ve(3,3) usually have an FDV twice their TVL, so we can expect a TVL of 75M. Let's not be so optimistic, let's take 60M. This is equal to 1620USD for every 0.01% of points. 2. But of course, we have to take into account that these tokens have a 2-year vesting period and that you can only sell 50% of the airdrop with a 50% penalty. In other words, you can only sell a total value of 25% of the airdrop. So, of this $1,620 for every 0.01% of points, you can sell 50% for a value of $405. In my particular case, I have 0.036% of the points, which gives me $5,832 according to these calculations, of which I could sell 50% of my tokens for $1,458 (penalty included) in the form of a tradable NFT on @drip__trade and @hyperwarpfi In my opinion, dumping the airdrop at half price makes no sense. The HYPE ecosystem continues to grow, it is the first DEX ve(3.3), they distribute 100% of fees among veKITTEN holders, and with the altseason already underway, we know where the FDV can go... So, don't count on my tokens. Now I ask you: 1. Based on my math, how much total will you receive and how much of that could you sell? 2. Are you going to dump the airdrop?

I understand that it's not just the % of veKITTEN you have locked to earn fees that counts, but also the time you have it locked. But let's say you've farmed hard for the points, managed to get 0.1% of the points, and keep them locked for 2 years. You would be earning 1000 USD/month just for voting in pools. Are you really thinking about dumping the airdrop? You should be thinking about buying and locking up for 2 more years.

The most bearish case is a price of 0.0005 HYPEs per KITTEN (as stated in the docs). I know it’s extremely bearish and unlikely, but I like to prepare for the worst—anything above that will be a win. I finally decided to change my MechaCat PFP from @KittenswapHype to @PiPonHL NFT. To be honest, I thought they would have a better ending, but the truth is that the team always made it clear several times that they had no further plans for the NFT, apart from the allocation. On the other hand, Kittenswap is supposedly a “real project,” not a cult, and doesn't need a community... Or does it? You'd have to ask the best project in the crypto world, $HYPE. If anything, the dip may be more due to the overall market pullback than points farmers fleeing. Now I see a bunch of people asking how to sell the airdrop. But really… y’all thinking of dumping tokens from the first DEX on Hyperliquid? Selling at 30–40M FDV (with a discount!) a protocol with huge potential in the $HYPE ecosystem. That’s like selling $JUP or $RAY at a 40M FDV. Go check their current market caps. Anyway, for those still asking: depending on your % share, you can sell veKITTEN as an NFT on @hyperwarpfi or @drip__trade (yes, at a discount). There’ll surely be demand. As for me, I’m keeping my pools open. Why would I close now, with a volatile week ahead and the protocol about to print like crazy? Can’t wait to try out veKITTEN ve(3,3) mechanics 🐾🚀

Personally, I don't like what's happening between @KittenswapHype and @HyperSwapX . Yesterday, I was surprised by @shinji2048 's tweet because he always seemed very cautious, even though the OG/KOLs collective always ignored them and implied that KITTEN was a scam. I think shinji wanted to preempt an attack by attacking first (this is just my guess). On the other hand, calling someone a rugger for launching a project you were involved in that went wrong and lost you money is a bit opportunistic. You want to gamble but with guarantees? We're not here to play games. Finally, I trust $KITTEN and @shinji2048 100%, and when all this is over and both projects are up and running, I'll only have to choose between: 1. A project that distributes 100% of the fees among its users 2. Or a project that is backed by the big whales of the ecosystem but does not give me as much % of fees on the LPs. Honestly, sometimes the latter is more important than being the best project.

I think I’ll end up doing the same. Right now I’m 50% in $HYPE, but I’ll probably rotate out of $ETH, $LINK, $AAVE, and $ZRO to go full to $HYPE. Funny enough, AAVE is the only one that’s actually performed well. My conviction is solid — but going 100% $HYPE is a big move. Respect.

GM, gPiP! Update after 96h: Looks like @prjx_hl is embracing volatility and has slightly closed the gap with Hyperswap in terms of fees generated over the last 24h. As @BOBBYBIGYIELD pointed out yesterday, since @prjx_hl is a newer protocol, many LPs tend to choose tighter ranges, concentrating fees more densely, as long as price stays within those ranges. In my case, yesterday’s volatility played in my favor. While many likely got pushed out of range, I kept farming thanks to a wider price band I had set from the start. It’s a good reminder: it’s not just about maximizing points. The real move is to use the protocol organically, earn consistent yield and stack points. That way, you’re not counting on the airdrop to cover losses later. Social card update day on @KaitoAI 📊 Still no “smoth one” card, not sure what % of Smart Follower you need to get it, but I managed to drop it by 15% this week and I’m now at 62%. Still earning some YAPs here and there, but I honestly don’t get how. I sometimes earn more on days I barely post than on days I’m active. Are they delayed or what? (Like the ones who sold HYPE at 32 yesterday 🫠) Maybe I got a few from talking about @HanaNetwork ?
